i as an old school player vote in favour of returning the wilderness, i started playing runescape about 8 years ago and i stopped when you removed the wilderness, the people that vote against it probably have not played back in the day and only played with the way the game is now, which is **** if you ask me. since a lot of players stopped playing when you removed free trade and the wilderness this vote will not be completely repressentative, i myself only saw that a vote was happening because i clicked some link from a fan site of a certain other MMORPG, the majority of the old players i suspect do not know about this poll, however there is 90% in favour of returning the old wilderness and free trade i think this makes a clear point on what you should do.

Wild is meant to be Dangerous, End off. YOu dont have to go there, and the wild isnt 100% of the map, It's a small majority. I vote yes, The only reason i quit years ago, was because of the changes. It made runescape itself "more of a bot" Were you had to cringe to play at points in time. Everything got so technical and dull. You harder you try the more failo it is. Bring back wild. The majority wants it. Also when you used to say pker's, Was a small majority in runescape, at like 2.5% of players. Looks who was wrong now.

Why is it if we don’t wont the wildy we are noobs or don’t know what we are talking about or we ar not pkers so what if we are not pkers
I have played from 2004 im not a noob maybe we don’t wont it cos we know what it was like then. I also find the ones for it all they do is give abuse
Remember even pkers need skillers or where would they get there stuff to pk from

So many factors play into making runescape what it is this vote counts major on wether or not people will love rs.
First this is bothering me, people keep saying RIP clue scrollers. Jagex has already said that they will be adjusting those. Read what has been posted it helps befor you start trolling. The only thing hat bothers me with this update will be the low and high being taken away. I sell my yew logs at low and they always sell instantly. Trying to predict that may be hard but im sure there will be ways.

People are also worried about botters.... :( of course people are gonna bot but thats there own risk it does not apply to you. Just stop worshiping lvl 3 skillers. I personally think botting is dumb why have something else do the fun for you.

@Fred, (sorry I respond late, was out for dinner)
I don't see the problem with wearing full bandos or something else valuable when pking. Where's the fun without the risk? It's the risk that makes you feel the adrenaline rush, it's the risk of getting caught, killed or even getting a kill from a clan deep in the Wilderness that drives many of us old school pkers in there.
I honestly understand that some people might run around with d'hide and stuff, but then you really shouldn't expect a bigger loot than what you're risking.. And you talk about making higher drops? I don't see the logic, sorry. No pain, no gain.
The wilderness was something that gave us some time off, what has now become many people's normal doings, skilling. It gave us some great memories, friends and foes, and I for one wouldn't have been the same player today without it.
After what I've read it doesn't seem likely that you had any affilitation to the old school wildy, and next time, please make sure you've considered your knowledge about that era before saying what is the case and what is not.
