I believe the post of mine that were hidden were in fact kosha, but because I was quoting something that wasn't so kosha - it got hidden, it was even mentioned there I believe. This is something that is hearsay - can't prove.
That indeed was the case for some posts, whereas others were hidden both because of that and your actual message. I'd rather not delve with the past too much, as unfortunate as that incident was. I have read through again today and wholeheartedly understand where you are coming from. I do however not reckon any posts were unfairly hidden, in fact I would likely have advocated more hides - but we all have different ways of approaching these things.
I thought that thread was fine, even before I changed it - straight to the point and stated what I disagreed with, the only thing that wasn't kosha, was the fact that I quoted a Jmod. But I was trying to bring forth the wrongness of what she stated, not what went wrong with the lodetone and babe thread. I brought them in, not to fuel the disagreement, but to put light on the subject.
I understand and appreciate your intentions, however, I can repeat myself and say that the way you approached this was not the best one. It should not have been handled on public forums. And, if you meant to discuss the overall issue then it should have been approached differently too.

I never once baited a troll in that thread - I never once trolled! The only thing I did was answer questions, that were thrown at me as best as I could and if this is classed as 'You do however take a responsibility the second you post and respond to them'. this is very sad counteracting the blame - when i know very well, I handled myself very well in there and didn't break the rules once!
No, not deliberately. However, your replies did indeed fuel further trolls and spam messages - which you saw for yourself too. I appreciate that this wasn't your intention, but it was ultimately not helping to respond. It might not have been the sole reason, and I doubt it was, but it was not pushing things in a better direction either.
I understand that people read sentences, paragraphs, posts, threads and each person my see or take something different from it, I understand that some may misread or not comprehend it as the poster had intended - this is human, but doesn't entitle any one to go outside of rules, to degrade, troll, hate, use derogatory language...
I agree, well said.
If a player is breaking the rules by trolling, hating etc continuously, why isn't nothing done about it? Why does it seem to be kosha by some, even those who moderate...? I expect tougher rules, I want tougher rules.
I'd really like to say that something
is
done about it, but evidently you do not feel this is the case. And, if that indeed is the situation, then clearly we're not catching everything as we're supposed to. I see you reported the specific thread four times, three times excluding the lock. All three times the posts in question were actioned, but it appears as if the previous pages weren't read and actioned similar ways. You waited a long time with reporting, but that's OK too.

Tougher rules is not something I'd support. I'd much rather educate and advocate mutual respect, mature and polite postings combined with a welcoming forum etiquette. It has been proven repeatedly that hitting harder and harder is not going to solve the issue if you aren't addressing it from the right angle. Locking, hiding and muting is not a super constructive way to go about things, and really something which should be considered last alternative. Communication, on the other hand, is something worth pursuing.
If a Forum Moderator deliberately ignores troublesome posts and/or harassment then obviously that Forum Moderator is not fit for duty. We are here to support the community we are a part of, and to help foster the forums we treasure dearly. There are however times where it's better to not action anything if you're in doubt - in such situations the report is handed to fellow Forum Moderators to ensure things are done properly. It is moreover crucial to stress that concerns like these are taken extremely serious and is indeed one of the reasons why we have the Forum Moderator Review thread in place. I understand that you may not feel your reports result in anything, but all reports are reviewed as well as the associated Forum Moderator action(s).
I'll be online for a few more hours, should you have further concerns or comments.

rangedevil, if the harassment occurs in the forums, action will be taken. Should it happen in-game, please report the offenders using the Report feature and add them to your Ignore list.
Roy Boy106, coming to this thread to complain about the actions of Forum Moderators and to continue the harassment of another player is not tolerated. If you wish to report how Forum Moderators have handled a particular situation, please post your concerns in the

sticky thread.
