GhostPenguin - A recent update to the Forum Code of Conduct has now clarified this point:

"You may post your social media name, as long as you do not link to the specific website: ie Follow me on Twitter @example; NOT follow me on ***.twitter.*** @example. This is to prevent users from linking you to malicious websites."

As per said clarification, the signature you have mentioned is fine to remain on the forums. Those that give an actual URL to the site would be in violation of the rule.
