Your Quest of 200 words!



Who's enjoying the Questival, then? Here, have a party hat! *throws confetti*. I hope you're ready for the 200th Quest!

Now, we have yet another little challenge for you - this will be running from now to Friday 3rd - I hope you have your creative caps ready!

Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to create your very own quest with 200 words or less. Write it out, make sure it's perfect, then submit it to us at [email protected] with the title "Quest in 200 words" and make sure to include your display name!

It can be about anything and everything, whatever your heart desires! We'll judge the best story and post it up, and the winner will receive:

One of 7 signed and framed artwork pieces, based on the 200th quest and signed by the creators!

A Rift Between Us

Brief Description: While performing a new poem, for the mighty warriors of Gunnar's Ground; Dororan the Dwarf was taken captive by a Demon. Loving the poem and wanting Dororan for his own amusement. When the Demon retreats he leaves behind some pest control minions and demons. Gudrud is distraught and ready to go charging into the abyss.

Start point: Barbarian Village Great Hall

Quest requirements:
Gunnar's Ground, Quiet Before the Swarm, Demon Slayer, Shadow of the Storm
Skill Requirements:
35 dungeoneering, 40 mining, 40 smithing, 45 cooking, 49 magic, 50 crafting, 54 runecrafting, 60 thieving
Misc Requirements: Completed at least 5 games of pest control. Access to the runecrafting abyss. Ability to kill several level 50 and 75 creatures and one level 105.
Item Requirements: Law talisman. Cut Ruby(x3). Gold Bar(x3). Ball of Demonwoo x3. Soft Clay. Papyrus and Charcoal (for making map). All items are obtainable during quest.
Items Suggested: Darklight/Food/Armour/ Potions, Wicked hood for essence.
This Quest would take place in a Dungeon similar to the movie: Labyrinth. Complete with the Knight and the Knave double door riddle. (186 words)

One minor request. Please do let us know the format you would prefer submissions or if they are free form. Also, this was originally intended for suggestions. Is it alright for contest submissions to be posted on the Suggestion Thread (when more work has been done on it.)? I was planning to actually write out more things including some room ideas. Get suggestions and feedback from players ect.

Is there a particular format you'd prefer? Just the story, or very bare requirements etc. Also, what's the stance on diagrams, images etc?

The Gladiators

Brief description: Ozan, the agile thief has managed to steal from the wrong people, The Exiled Rangers a group of deadly group of bandits who wander the Kharidian Desert for innocent adventurers to kill and loot from. The Exiled Rangers have managed to abduct Ozan and other adventurers and have placed them at the bottom of an underground upside down pyramid.

Start Point: Ozan's Bow in the middle of the Kharidian Desert (East of the Bandit Camp Lodestone)

Quest Requirements:
Tourist Trap, Stolen Hearts, Diamond in the Rough, Shadow of the Storm

Skill Requirements:
70 Attack, 70 Strength, 70 Magic, 60 Herblore, 80 Ranged (To use Ozan's Bow), 80 Firemaking.

Misc Requirements: Ability to kill several level 108 and one level 145 that has the ability to stun and drain prayer points.

Items Required: Vial of Water, 6 Mahoghany planks, 25 Steel nails, Hammer, Saw, 50 Fire Runes, 50 Water Runes, 50 Earth Runes, 50 Air Runes, and 100 Steel Arrows

Items Suggested: Lots of food (Sharks/Rocktails), different combat styles, Prayer potions, Holy Wrench, and some waterskins

This quest takes place mostly in the Kharidian Desert, and has a couple difficult puzzles to solve.

This probably isn't too creative as others will be but I thought i'd throw this idea of a quest in here :)

Look, I wrote a quest in less than 200 characters. Who even needs 200 words.

i put competitions@jagex.*** into my search engine and i made a profile and its a dating site?? Netlogg two is what it changed to after i made a profile i thought it was a submission thread... idk how to submit my quest idea to you now...
