and the year before that with christmas tree hats. i dont understand why you would say you are not bugged by this. jagex has made it essentially a tradition to give its players the chance to get the most out of a holiday event without there being a pay wall . expecting a scummy company to be scummy is one thing, but not being phased when they are being scummy with you is another.
christmas events are the biggest in the game, because unlike halloween, thanksgiving, easter, and valentines day, christmas is celebrated by almost every single country on earth. ruining it for everyone by making a SoF2 promotion is disgusting.
well you kinda need to rephrase what your saying, yes they are ruining the chrismas event for you all here on rs3, but that is your own fault for playing rs3... me personally get to sit and laugh, because guess what?

we get a fair chrismas season..so with that being said and the 10's of thousand on old school are all going to have a fair chrismas season
they aren't making it unfair for everyone....only to you peeps on rs3....truthfully if you wanted a equal oprotunity on this game quit rs3 and play old school its very easy I did it with multiple 99's on this account....cherrio
