Can we have full transcripts of every video / twitch / livestream etc
I personally do not have the patience to sit through long videos (without glazing over), but would love to skip through any transcripts to see whats going on in rs or future rs.
I am sure there are many people in this category, so think it would be a nice idea :D
Cheers

Don't they do like recaps afterwards? Or was that just for the Runefest livestream?

I don't think I'll be watching these livestreams anymore.
Seems they are just more or less a bunch of guys sitting around shootin' the breeze.

The livestream chat turns into nothing more than mod-bashing comments, with actual questions or comments lost in all the spamming junk.

If the livestreams are supposed to be just 'entertainment', it's lacking. If they are supposed to be informative, it's lacking there, also.
At my funeral will be a piñata so ppl can be happy, but full of bees so they're not too happy.

What is your opinion on a land expansion of RS, where certain things are spread out farther apart and have more space between them? In a way purely for aesthetic purposes, since HTML5/NXT are bringing larger render distances.

For example, you can clearly see most of Burgh de Rott from the Cithared* Abbey, and White Wolf Mountain looks like a pimple.

Could there be a graphical work-around that would do the job, such as strategically placed skyboxes to cover lands that shouldn't appear to close to another?

I told myself I'd stop replying to questions not meant for me, but on seeing so many cleverly disguised opinions I just couldn't resist. The majority of the community? You mean the one fifth that actually supported Bandos? And even among them, not everyone was 'outraged' by the decision. I for one was outraged by the imbalance of the event, but I have no issue with Bandos dying. The stakes were high from the beginning. The loser was going to die. Anyone unwilling to accept that is just begging to be labelled a sore loser.

No, the world event was flawed from the beginning. Many people, like me, did not want either god to die. I fought for Armadyl as I wanted him to die least but that does not mean I wanted Bandos to die. There was a massive petition created as soon as it was announced that one would die begging them not to go through with it which was completely ignored. A significant amount of the community did not want this and are still angry about it.

It has nothing to do with being a sore loser. The concept of killing a god off was stupid to begin with and that is what I hate, not the result. I knew the loser would die, I just didn't want that to happen. Plus look, it is several months on and what has Bandos's death added to the game? Little to nothing, much more was lost from killing him.

I am confident in my belief that people think killing Bandos off was a mistake. I'm willing to be proven wrong, lets have it polled. But Jagex will never do that because they know that the result will be people disliked Bandos's death and they aren't willing to look stupid having to acknowledge that.

Since the end of world event 2, I have never seen a mod acknowledge any negative comment on Bandos's death. If they cant justify the decision, it should not have happened.

What will be done to stop this becoming a mass popularity contest?

I really don't get why people are complaining about the voting systems being 'popularity contests'. That's kind of the point of voting systems. Most popular option wins.

When will we get an apology for and full retcon of the mighty fall?

Why would they do that? I think The Mighty Fall was the second best quest this year, only beaten by Fate of the Gods. Really the only major thing wrong with it was that godawful redesign of Zanik. I felt like I was going to vomit just looking at it.

By preventing popularity contests, I mean the same thing being constantly voted for. Say like every month, 40% vote for a new boss and the other 60% are split amongst other updates. We should not get 12 new bosses as the majority do not want that and certain updates (e.g. combat) will always get more votes so should not be constantly polled with other updates so they never win.

The Mighty Fall was appalling on so many levels. I could write a book on its flaws. The terrible redesign of Zanik, the "choice" at the end, the squishing in of Bandos's backstory so they didn't have to make another quest, giving yelps a major role in the last serious Bandos quest, ect. Honestly it is the worst quest ever. I would almost say worst "update" ever.

You may have guessed my next question based on the logic of my previous answers.

With RuneLabs a way to vote in popular player wanted updates to the game, could RuneLabs be used to resurrect Bandos? Using the system would show there is support from the community for the project (has to gain support and win the poll).

Mod Mark,

Can you have a video of your stream on YouTube after it is over? I'm going to be at work when your live stream goes off. I have difficulty with twitch as I'm never able to find these QA session videos. Instead I'm always redirected to non-runescape material, most of it very vulgar in nature.

Btw I do love what you've done with the Elf City, it's a shame the others don't work this way.
Jagex 2019 New Year Resolution... MTX our customers until RS3 SERVER SHUTDOWN PARTY!
The RS3 Community is treated like :@ RUBBISH :@ due to constant TH promotions.

Don't buy keys on Treasure Hunter, if you do Jagex will only make more TH promotions :(

I hung around in the WE2 thread for a good couple months after the event ended and though I saw almost everyone complaining about the event imbalance but exactly nobody complaining about Bandos's death, except for those who were complaining about it as a result of the event imbalance.

I might be wrong, it wouldn't be the first time, but I doubt a Bandos resurrection will get significant amounts of upvotes even if submitted to RuneLabs. And that's coming from someone who supported Bandos in the WE.

Glad to see you're taking questions here is mine:

Will there be a crystal add on to the imcando pickaxe?

-I would hope there would be as it would be a spit in the fast to all who have gone through the dwarf quest line only to find their elite pick is inferior.
