How bonus XP is allowed this weekend and brawlers yet you don't consider it OP yet you still disable the guilded altar which makes no sense at all?
Isn't it about time you let go of nostalgia? Overloads and Summoning are 2x as more ** as Prayer is so why the limitations?
It may have made sense in the past but it doesn't now. Let Prayer work during the weekend. If not 350% on the Altar. Make it at least 450% XP (though 700% puts it in line with Overloads but nowhere near as Summoning). Also let Dragonrider Amulet work alongside Brawlers.
Prayer is one of the most limited skills and has been forgotten and ditched every weekend. This games intention was for players to train all skills (yes I know in light of recent updates, you cared about the pure/skiller community which is great, I commend you for it).
But there is absolutely no reason a skill should give worse XP over one weekend instead of better XP.
That's like making Slayer monsters give 50 XP instead of 300 XP because a player is already gaining Combat XP.
This limitation needs to go and if it doesn't. You're neglecting one of the most overlooked neglected skill on RS which doesn't get touched at all unless you have bank.
So for trivial balance and hopes sake. Allow Prayer to work this weekend PLEASE!
7. I already have 99 in all skills. Don’t you think this cheapens training?
We think this is an update which appeals to a wide spectrum of players - from people who have just started out and would welcome a boost; to mid-level players striving for a goal; to high-level players training their last few skills; and even to those maxed-out players who are aiming for the 200 million mark in a skill. As everyone is being given the same opportunity,
and that the biggest benefit only lasts for ten hours
, we do not feel it cheapens anything – even with a Bonus XP boost, a 99 is still a huge achievement!
I added the red to the text. That part should be changed because the effect does not reduce after 10 hours, it continues the whole weekend.
In the answer to question 8 it says: "This is one reason that we
are
giving plenty of advance warning." The word "are" was left out and should be added for proper grammar.
