So I've been trying to get "Kim" for many years as I said and since the update, also Been doing this for 2 hours still didn't get it, and says name changing is down. And now someone else got Kim, Really JAGEX?..
I'm always A Day Late for some odd reason.

I don't know if I'm right, but I think you can only reserve your current name and the last name you changed your username to, so the third one down the line is probably open to the public again.

For example my previous name "Geepee" will be available soon.

93 mins in and I finally got my name.
I used firefox and chrome, switching between them when I got an error, just spammed the yes button a few times each attempt.
Check in game every so often as it seems to show the change there before anywhere else.
