Ah... really? =\ I didn't know about this, as I never tried to change my name previously. Now I don't know what to do, I was going to use the website as I heard ingame blocks you from checking after a certain amount of times.

On the first batch release I got blocked from the site, and that lasted about 4 days.. So on the 2nd batch I just used the ingame to change my name and it was flawless, however Jagex seem to have imrpoved the name changer on the site.. I feel as though the site would be faster to change it, but all depends if it gets overloaded.

Ah, I just wanted to use the one on the website as I heard of people being blocked from the ingame version for a certain duration after trying for a name many times. So I'm really stuck on which one to use. And yes, it's a good possibility the site could go down due to too many people trying to connect at the same time... hmmm >__<

Correct. Today's the date, and ALL names set to be released will be cleared and free at 4:00 BST.

EDITED: My fault...I meant 4:00 BST!

Well that's stupid. I disagree, you'd redeem it to change your name, It's basically like redeeming stuff a bond for keys etc, they won't refund if you decide you don't want the keys anymore lol.

If you get a bond, RuneScape very kindly gives you the chance to use that bond to change your name early if you can't wait for 28 days to pass. Simple enough? When you use the bond for a name change, there is no refund. I don't understand what your question is, but in short, if you used the bond for a name change, you better want that change, otherwise don't waste your money or your time... and wait for 28 days to pass.

All it does is it resets the 28day timer.

Oh I thought it was at 4:00 BST. Everyone will probably go for those really, really popular names. I'm after something less popular so I think I'll be all good.
