Loving it. Loving Legacy, even in pre-beta. Finally a really good update.
I wouldn't mind paying 10 times the membership cost to be able to pvp in f2p again.

The obvious first to-do-list (as stated during stream):
Scale down the LP and hits.
Combine dual wields into 1 item.
Smaller hitsplats.
Delay fixes when swapping weapons.

Man, I thought legacy mode had old style weapons and armours :/

Same :(

They never said it would though. In fact, they said it won't have it's own set of equipment.

Mod Pips said this:

Legacy Mode will have:
- No abilities
- Special Attacks
- Auto attack & special attack damage close to that of EoC
- No action bar
- Old-style Minimap with health, prayer & summoning buttons.
- Old-style menu ribbon and side panels
- Chat interfaces in old layout
- Type-to-chat
- Old-style hit splats
- Special attack bar
- Fixed window layout
- Some Legacy-only game worlds

Legacy Mode might have:
- Special attack bar starts full
- Legacy Mode only wilderness areas
- Scaled down damage and health numbers*
* 'relative' damage dealing stays the same

Legacy Mode won’t have:
- Changes to ‘EoC bosses* like Kalphite King, Vorago or ROTS.
- Its own separate set of equipment and monster stats.
- Changes to how XP is gained.
- Dual wielding removed.

Global changes being planned:
- Evolution of Combat improvements already announced
- Combat Level Calculation (will probably be polled)
- XP for PvP
- Weapon poison buff
- Shield improvements
- Slightly increased weighting of strength in damage calculations*
- Slightly increased weighting of constitution in health calculations*
* this doesn’t mean more damage or health overall, but that your character’s stats have more influence in how the total is reached.

So, having watched the stream for a bit, all I'm seeing is RS3 with a different interface, and smaller numbers in combat.

Now, I personally don't mind, because I plan on sticking to EoC regardless, but is this what people who voted for Legacy wanted...? I know this is still in alpha/beta stage, but honestly, I'm not seeing the appeal. To clarify, I'm not trying to be trolly, I'm honestly asking if this is what people were expecting/wanted. Because if not... why are we still devoting development time to this?

Can't wait! :)

I hope to be able to watch a few of those streams this weekend. That's awesome MunclesOnkey is in one of them, by the way. I love his guides on YouTube. :D
