I get it that the unannounced ninja sessions might be on the Jmods' "free time" at work, whenever they don't have anything more pressing to do, but this being touted as a community event, you'd think that the pre-set times would count as work for the Jmods involved. As such I can't feel anything but disappointment for the canceling/moving around of times.
Is the community team really so pressed for time?
What are you busy with?
Policing the forums? Checking reports? Kicking bots into Botany Bay?
What?
...yes, I know you likely can't tell us, but it reflects poorly on what should be a community event. And like others have said before, if it's really just "find a Jmod, get stamped, run away from the mass-lag", it's not much of a community event, and should be handled by an NPC.
If you want, you could make the NPC ask a question (about recent updates would be a good one, since few seem to read the newsposts) that changes daily and which you must choose the right answer to, before getting stamped. Please ask the dev team if they could sacrifice this much of
their
time, since you cannot.
