^ It is going to a good cause, and it will still be going to a good cause if neither took place. And of course, we have the option to vote for "neither" but from reading this thread people are saying "oh, I don't want this, so I'll vote for that instead" and etc.

While Jagex aren't "forcing" this upon us, per say, they clearly haven't done a good enough job of adverting to the players that they are capable of voting for a "neither" option which would prevent the confusion people have that by neither they are assuming it means to just not vote.

I'd say that the Double drops would be the most useful. As that way people can donate their second drop or perhaps both.

Another idea I've had for this is make it like a world event where renown is replaced with donation, and there is no cap. The "renown" is earned simply by playing runescape and doing things, like skilling or combat, or mini games etc. That then gives you "renown" or points or whatever which you can then only donate to the Well.

By doing that it gives people more incentive for combat and such because to a small degree their actual actions of playing the game is a "currency" of sorts that can be donated. which would then be able to have that as well as their RS Gold being used :)

Just an idea, what do you think?

I love the idea behind this and whilst I have a preference for double xp, personally, as am skilling at the moment and feel this would assist more across the RS community then double drops (too crowded and many people not kitted out for bossing nor enjoy and it will drive armour/weapon prices up etc etc) what I don't understand is that there is a neither option yet NOT a BOTH option?
This makes no sense to me at all - if this event is sponsored to support a charity then why can people vote neither? yet not vote for both?
If BOTH were an option then every single RS player would get what they wanted for the weekend OR be able to split their time between the two - 12 hours on each say.. Surely this would be a better option then neither? If people don't want either of them they don't have to participate.
