Does the outfit have to be holiday-related or would any outfit designed for cold weather be suitable? Once the contest has completed, will we be allowed to post our artwork to websites like deviantART or Tumblr? These are the two things I would like to know. If our entry doesn't win, since Jagex now owns all rights to the design, is there any chance that we could see our design implemented something in the future, even if we don't win this competition?

I really like my design, and I'd love to see it in game, even if it doesn't win this time :P

And is there any estimate as to the cost that the winning design would be set at, R-C (Runecoins) wise? Would it also be available to buy with LP (Loyalty Points)? I want to be able to start saving up my in-game gold so that I can buy bonds when the winning costume is released :)

EDIT:
Also, is there any rule against posting our entries to the Official-Runescape group on DeviantART? I posted mine there (Which I am so glad I did, because otherwise it would have gotten deleted when my computer was reset ), and so did some other people.

I would like to make a the back pack theme like a santa claus bag also the main weapon a giant cookie and the off hand weapon a glass or gallon of milk the boots could be snow shoes and mittens for the gloves the main costume could be like a fat stomach piece but not santa In other terms i could do a Evil Elf costume with a elf hat elf boots with a little bell on them also green tight shirt and pants plus little green gloves main weapon could be a candy cane and off hand like a screwdriver to make toys

Is there any way we could get a little more information about the competition's standards so we're going in less blind?

For example, aside from raw power of inspiration, what does the art team typically look for in good concept designs? Marketability (potential for mass appeal)? Originality (outfits that aren't like anything else SGS already has)? Innovation (ways to use SGS outfits that haven't been done before)? Detail (thought put all the way into decorative elements instead of just general ideas)?

Or do they just look through all of them and go with a gut reaction, not trying to put any concrete thought behind why they pick the ones they do?

Yeah like the post above, I could do with a little more information... Also about the "wintery" criteria, I was thinking Plate Armour with fur(would this be alright? I mean ofc I'd get much more creative then that but it gets the point across.(When I say fur, I mean A LOT of fur.)) I've been drawing hundreds of random designs but they all seem to be lacking when it comes to the criteria. So far they're all very 'serious', I can't stand all the silly looking armours in the game to be entirely honest.

EDIT: Also do we as artists get credited in any way other then being the first with the armour?

While I don't plan to enter I'm looking forward to seeing the results of the competition.

One thing I would like to see as an in-game wearable is a hooded cloak. Not a cape, not a coat, not a robe - but a cloak. To me a hooded cloak is an iconic piece of medieval garb worn by all classes within society, from a rough cloak worn by a peasant to an elegant cloak worn by nobility to a rugged fur cloak worn by a woodsman. As seen in such classic high fantasy settings such as Lord of the Rings and DragonLance , cloaks were not only used for warmth and adornment but might also be used as a blanket or for shelter when travelling.

I'm hoping that some talented artist who is entering the competition will include a cloak in their outfit design. Ideally with a hood that can be put up or down and actually illustrated as being up or down and not simply removed as with skillcapes.
