Please dont embrace Twitter there's already enough third-party sites with information regarding the game and we don't want players confused when some jerk makes a fake doppleganger account and starts scamming. Maybe make a more user friendly website interface. Still please stop advertising your use of facebook, Twitter, or any other worthless social networks
insert stupid ass sig here.
Those faction sigs from Runeslayer are pretty cool!
Thanks for the roundup.
Great art work Legend Arts and GnomeWillow.
Just one little thing - on the main news page, the bit about Jmods on Twitter links to the Clan event. The link is correct in the first post in this thread though.

Social media is hugely popular at the moment with many gamers now using Facebook and Twitter as their main source of news and engagement with the games and brands they want to hear from. It gives our staff another way of engaging with the community and allows for them to continuing interacting even outside of working hours.
We are planning on increasing staff presence on the forums too in future.

No idea what happened there as it's (Pretty much) the same code in the post. Have fixed now.

I think it would be nice to have a set, bare minimum. Over the years, forum interaction from Jagex just peaks and drops, peaks and drops etc and imo that's really not cool. When it drops, it can drop below a bare minimum expectation to the point where some players think Jagex are just behind the scenes and not watching much and no one (besides the volunteer FMods you could say) is running the place...
So many times we've seen statements such as "we're planning to increase this", "we're planning to increase that". I think at times, why let it drop so far low? You do loads and loads of interaction and then just disappear. You can't really expect a community like RuneScape's forum one to ignore this can you?
There should be a bare minimum imo, at least so that its obvious CM mods are present. I personally hate large fluctuations in activity. I would rather have a mean activity amount from JMod posts with small fluctuations rather than one with
very large
fluctuations...
You build up high expectations of activity when you do a massive activity spike in interaction, and then when you suddenly stop, a lot of players are like "well, where have the JMods disappeared off to
again
, and for how long..?".
Less "planning to increase/decrease activity" multiple times across the game's life, and more of a stable mean activity amount with small fluctuations about that amount imo.
On the topic of the community round up, for the artwork, maybe they should be put into the Players' Gallery in some sort of way? You can showcase it weekly but we see so many that for me personally, it can be difficult for me to be shocked.
If I saw new artwork less often, it would feel less "shoved in my face" to the point where I'm out of energy to notice the brilliant parts which separate each one in quality from others
