Its also how they've done things for the past 5+ years, why shocked now? Iv'e modified my post however, as it wasn't entirely what i meant.

Not so much shocked as just disappointed, Mist. It gets tiresome to see the same kind of mistakes handled in the same way year after year.

I can't believe how immature and disgusting he spoke on that video recording. I'm not sure if I am comfortable with this young guy representing or "bridging" between us and Jagex.

A lot of profanity, immaturity, and an immediate attempt to defend himselves clearly state he cannot handle responsibility at this level, it is simply going to be too overwhelming for him.

Mist, clearing up spam and hate posts is one thing. But let's not be naive and be oblivious to the facts of what just happened. This can turn out to be a huge embarrassment for the company, it needs to be dealt with now before a storm comes.

If a post is hidden or removed, the cause is because the person who made the post blatantly ignored and broke the rules. In regards to those upset about the posts that were removed, that were made sharing an opinion, and want to share it with others. They should do so in a fair manner, and not in such a negative way. This thread is meant to congratulate him, on becoming a Jagex Mod and nothing more.

A F-Moderators call is absolute, if your post was removed it was for a good reason. In my opinion if you don't have a congratulations to write out, than you should just back away from posting. You have a right to your opinion, just not when its so negative and rule breaking. Poor mist is working overtime, and so many other moderators to keep everyone in check.

In my eyes, he made a mistake. Apologized in his second video on his main channel. I forgive him personally. Congratulations on securing the gold crown Matt. I also believe that in his first video, he said something under the lines of representing the community. Although the truth is, it's the community that represents him. If you mutiny against your captain, then you can be thrown overship. I highly doubt he would have the power to ban someone, nor would he ever do so.

Fan or Not, he is only human.
