you recently said that the player is the only person unable to become a god. However this is impossible to name a few reasons why this is impossible is first the power of the young gods originates from the elder gods,
Guthix
could not grant a power to negate the power of something more powerful than himself, second the player would not be able to use magic given that magic is the power of the gods, third
Guthix
being a God himself could not grant with his godly power could not grant this power to the player given that the power would nullify itself given that it is a godly power (infinite loop/paradox), fourth the player would be unable to use prayer given that it is power from the gods, fifth the player would be unable to gain xp from the tears of Guthix cave, sixth the player would be unable to collect divine tears given that they would be destroyed the instant the player touched them, seventh
Saradomin
states that only godly power that the player willingly accepts will affect him this in turn means that if the player wanted to become a god he could, eighth (and this one isn't even a technical reason)
Guthix
hated the gods for the fact that they forced their beliefs on to mortals so
Guthix
wouldn't do the same exact thing. I could state many, many more reasons but there wouldn't be enough space.
So
Mod Osborne
do you simply not want the player to become a god? Or if the power Guthix gave the player really preventing the player becoming a god how is it not affecting these things which I have previously stated?
P.S. The player would be unable to train divination given that it centers around collecting Godly power.
I've got to wonder, will the Black and White knights play a further role in the 6th Age, with the gods returning? Will the White Knights have an update for the armor and castle itself? Will players personally be able to side with both factions, with the ability to get equipment from these two?
What about the Raptor, Sir Owen and other heroes of Gielenor? Will they play a role, in more quests to come? The Death of Chivalry has me waiting on my seat for more!
Will new weapons also be available, mainly due to the fact that spears and mauls are available in Dungeoneering...
What about Barbarians and the Fremmenik? This new era has to be impacting them in some way!
And finally, what about holiday events? I always love those, but how will Death feel about the gods? The idea itself has me excited!
Forgot to mention, could you also make the new warpriest armor be level 60 dragon stats, just do what you did with the dragonstone set and reduce the armor rating slightly, I know the armor balancing was an issue, but make this set worth all the hassle!
