No, no, no, no, no, no, NO! Please at least let us play RS2 if you bring EOC out. I enjoy clicking and waiting. I don't want to play WoW, I want to play Runescape. Sure, it's a good idea (I know you guys have put months & months of work into it) but it's just not for me. I like the simplicity of RS2. Alot of people do.

I've been playing since 2003, 9 years of my life I've spent on this game. I don't wanna leave but I don't want to adapt to EOC either. And no special attacks? Why the hell did I save up for my Ags, Whip or Dragon items? Why did I level up my prayer?

Please just give us a poll to vote on (preferably in-game) or the option to continue playing RS2. We've given you our money to play. If I never payed I could've gone on holiday to Spain with the money I save for my membership. :@ Don't annoy your long time players. We've played for so long for a reason you know!

Also believe that most of the people agreeing with EOC are either suck-ups, people with no opinion & players that won't be badly affected.

When/if EoC comes to the live game, I'll most likely quit. I think EoC will be one of Jages'x biggest blunders, a costly one at that. I think they're trying to mimic many of the other games out there, however RuneScape isn't any one of those games, nor should it be. RuneScape is different from many other games and that what the majority of it's appeal to the gaming world is. After EoC, it will become "just another game." I REALLY REALLY hope Jagex rethinks this because the end result will not be a favorable one. But I realize this is unlikely because too much has been invested into the project and the one thing there most worried about (profit) would be lost as well, not that they can expect any after EoC anyways. EoC has too much wrong with it. I don't oppose a combat system change, however this isn't the right way to do it. Don't ruin it for us Jagex. :|

The EoC looks awsome!!! :) ive played the beta alot and can't wait for it to be released in the live game. could you maybe put a round about date for it to be released? because im itching to know. This has also been very helpful thanks :D The only thing i don't like is you getting rid of the specials. I think thats a bad idea guys :|

I really cant believe you are changing a game that has been succsessful without turning into another WoW, you are completely ruining this game and people are quiting everyday please don't ruin rs for us just because you like it and some of your "beta testers" do doesnt mean everyone does

I don't like the levels to high keep levels as they are. Jegex you need to find a way to connect the old RuneScape as it is now to the EoC bucause alot of people are not liking this update. Personally i like about 80% of the EoC. Maybe you could make a few worlds that are like the old RuneScape. you are going to loose players you definatly are. Ive played for 3 years so i havent expirienced the old RuneScape like your other players. I have just got back into playing RuneScape and want to keep are older player that have been working hard for there levels and played for hours so please keep are old players is anybody behind me?

i need help with my account, i want to disable JAG but i dont remember all the answers and i cant play right now, i have posted this message 3 times in different places, please dont reply to this with QFC i really hate that i still havet get my answer, i sent email to jagex support and the havent answered aswell, what am i supposed to do, to get some help in this forum ?

I'm not a immature 12 year old neither am I someone who cannot let go of the past but the be honest jagex i personally honestly think the EOC is terrible, here are my reasons so that Mod Mark cannot complain that the part of the community that dislike the EOC can't construct an argument. It is too much of a drastic leap; runescape over the years has built itself on small update after small update to draw its subscriber base in with the knowledge that the game they enjoyed and knew would not change into a game that they did not enjoy and did not want to play, overnight (This has happened to various other mmorpg's), the player base also had the anticipation of new small exciting updates which didnt change overall gameplay but changed each players gaming experience in there own small way whether they pk,skill or just do whatever they want to enjoy there runescape experience. Secondly the game has always beena click and drag why implement button mashing when it is unnecessary, couldn't you boost life points without special abilities and make it so that you choose your spec for each weapon. Also is there much point in these graphical updates when all the player is gonna do is be staring at there bottom left corner of there screen. These are but a few of the issues with the combat update which could easily be resolved through co-operation of everybody. If you would like any other views or answers to differing opinions or ideas on the EOC you know where to find me. One final point I am a 06 player as some people would like to put it, the game has grown and become so much more since then with you implementing every update with care and balance to the overall game, I had allot of respect for the way in which you did this and games do need to improve which it has been to my knowledge throughout the last 5 years. I hope to hear more from you about the EOC and I do hope you will stick to your word about not releasing the EOC untill it is fully ready because its not.Thanks.
