I personally believe that the so-called "Evolution" of combat. Is much worse to the economy than bots are! I mean, look at some the once-popular weapons like the abyssal whip, now just being complete garbage. I also want to say that thanks to the renaming of ancient spells, there's now a plothole in the lore of mahjarrat, and ancient spells. Face it jagex, nostalgia or not, "Evolution" of combat is doing more harm than good. This is the biggest update I advise you to reconsider. It's just sad how you keep on saying "It's just nostalgia, they'll be replaced..." about anyone who doesn't like the EoC. Try television commericals for once, and get rid of the EoC while you're at it. Think about it, why was 2002-2007 the highlight for rs again...?

Get rid of eoc it does nothing to help this game its too complicated for new players and it isnt "runescape like". there is nothing special about different weapons because spec attacks are gone. There is no fun in pking. Players are quitting and this kind of update will just make runescape go downhill even faster listen to the players we dont want EOC

Bring the old combat and the REAL rs back! Also keep armour levels like 50 defence for rune the same if you want, so the wannabe combat triangle stay balanced.

Pking is dead, Bossing is just a joke and nobody is doing minigames like pest control. Get rid of the Eoc Scape please.

@Linux Mint why oh why do you assume that people who hate EOC are or were PKers? I hate EOC, enough to quit after more years than I care to remember and i NEVER PK'd anyone, so there goes your theory :-P

the only way you people are going to get through to the stupidity of Jagex is to stop paying memberships as money is all they care about. They don't care how long you have been playing, how much you have spent on memberships over the years they just got too greedy and they will not back down as it will mean they have to admit EOC was a huge mistake and that the majority of their paying customers were right when they said they didn't want it.

they tried to make runescape more main stream and like other mmorpg like WoW but it isnt meant to be like that and new players will just pick a better mmorpg. runescape isnt meant to have that feel it had a uniquness to it but now its not there and it wont attract any new players and the community is already dieing
