The only way to stop bots spamming your PM other than to turn it off is if Jagex would not allow new accounts to PM anyone until they reach a certain level, or until they at least prove they are a real human and not a bot somehow. Hi.

wow gotta love the eoc whiners, its been what 5 days? its not like its a permanent thing. this is the most recent update and it deserves its week on the homepage.

ffs what a bunch of selfish players in this game. you will have ur precious eoc updates back probly by tomorrow. idiots need to learn to be patient

i rly dunno how jagex does it dealing with so many crybabys and selfish ******

Okay so after reading countless comments from eoc players bieng upset that they dont have any eoc news, maybe you should give the cry babys what they want, when accessing the old school area of the website we have our own private view on old school news feed, makes sense, would get rid of all the non topic discussion in these forums i had hoped to see useful info in instead of tear filled ragers from the eoc bieng upset about them not getting thier own way, eoc seems filled by toddlers that get mad over nothing, you still have a game go play it we old school lovers exist i mean cmon how about alittle adknowledgement???? YOU ARENT ONLY PEOPLE GET A HOLD OF YOURSELF AND LOOK AT THE BIGGER PICTURE! I didnt swear in this post at all, thats an accomplishment for all the crying 2 year olds here.

I think a Grand Exchange should be added in the 2007 server, nothing else changes but the area of where it would be. maybe add price checks also and then i think it would be a great old time game! Hope to see us reach that goal of 500K votes!

Anyone needing to buy/sell/trade cooked and raw fish we re-opened the old "Catherby" clan chat to the public, same as we did the first time 2007 came around.

Feel free to also discuss the 2nd version of the game. We're not strictly a markerplace for fish and other various items. We are first and foremost a community since 2003 made to bring together the best players of the game.

Old School Runescape news is still RUNESCAPE news, hence why it's posted on the RUNESCAPE page.

That being said....

I can understand why some EoC players are upset that they haven't released their quest. They've been spoiled for years by weekly updates and EVERY time there isn't an update, the community complains. I've seen it many, many times on the forums in my 6 years of playing.

Once an update IS released... all you see on the forums is, "Worst update ever!". Which is why Mod MMG pokes fun at that in the teaser video for Old School RS.

Both versions of the game are RUNESCAPE, as well as the classic version. Regardless of who whines, cries, complains, nags or whatever... it's all RUNESCAPE. Get used to it, get over it, move on.
