"I know it is difficult to be the first who redeems the code and thus gets the reward so I always announce I'll be giving the code out."
That's not really the issue - the problem is that due to all the familiars/cannons, the Jmod's avatar never loads unless you stand next to it (several of the spawns don't either), and as such none of the text ever loads either - those nearby are made aware, but those just a couple spaces away don't see the announcement, the code, or any other text from you for that matter. It's hard enough to even find the Jmod to be able to see any text from them even if you don't care about the runecoins due to familiars/cannons.
For actually entering the codes, they're easily invalid within 3-5 seconds of being told, so if you're not already in the code entry interface, using Diango is pointless because they'll be gone by the time you reach the code entry part...but of course for the majority of players you can't see the code from the Jmod in that case unless the Jmod stands next to Diango as well.
As mentioned previously in the thread, there's faster ways, and only those using one of the faster website based methods or using diango already in the entry panel with a top-of-the-line computer really stand a chance of getting them, beyond that it's a pretty fair fight between the people that actually have a chance though.
There's far too few codes compared to amount of people too really considering that it seems to be the only thing being handed out as part of the celebration...further exaggerated by the fact that some people have gotten several codes while the vast majority have gotten none - chances are that under 0.5% of players that turn up to these events will actually get anything.
