As it stands right now, only chaotic xbow can fire ruby(e) and diamond(e) bolts. I read the thread where a JMod explained the reasons for changing the way ammo works. As you could see from replies, there are many rangers that do not train DG. With this update you essentially cut them off from the bolts that have been in the game for a very long time, are made with skills unrelated to DG, and are not a reward from DG. Are you going to make some changes or chaotic xbow will be the only ultimate xbow?

Why was so much time dedicated to a complete overhaul of the combat system when it was desperately needed in other areas? Such as dealing with gamblers and RWT'ers.
Also, how can the removal of flower gaming/seal gaming in around 3 days be justified when it has gone untreated in normal runescape for so long?

"Why did you get rid of so many gear parameters? If anything they gave the game depth. I heard you wanted to make gear more "situational", but I think this is a poor attempt at that, and seems for of a forced situational use. Gear was already situational before, this is seen in the many setups and combinations for different bosses people used. Now it seems you just have to slap on the highest end armor you have for your attack style... Also, why the need to mess with the spirit shields like that? Specially when Divine and Elysian have been *the* tribrid shield for year as they had no offensive bonuses of any kid making it good for all sorts of bossing, particularly tribrid combat such as Dagannoth Kings and The Fight Kiln. It just doesn't seem like a good move to mess up with years upon years of development of a micro-economy such as spirit shields had and proven-and-truth mechanics that were very well designed in the first place, as all spirit shields (including blessed) have always seemed to be a tribrid shield, some emphasizing on defense and Arcane on offense."

With Dungeoneering the rumor has it you will be making floors bigger. I think when I did a large floor it was much harder so if you make them bigger it will take twice as long to complete it as it is harder with the combat beta. Is these rumors true and how is this going to effect some of the items binded such as "Blood Necklace" and "Shadow Silk hood"? If this is the case we would want more defensive items and fully armour our self and get the hp bonus that is offered with items worn such as primal plate and legs and boots to get that hp bonus. I am really wanting to know your opinion on if this is going to be worth having the defense bonus as well if you will be making the dunges larger with the rework.

Alot of people who train DG only solo have abandoned(or almost abandoned) the skill because of bad XP rates. With improving the combat triangle the fights in dungeons for soloers will be harder (need different weapons, armor etc.). Are you going to improve XP rates for soloers?

That does open up another few questions from me though :P
-Just to question; why did the first Nomad quest not have a Defence requirement on it? Piety has the requirements of 70 Prayer AND 70 Defence, the second of which wasn't on the req list, while the Prayer req was. Since the Piety room is *technically* possible without Prayer, was that why Defence was ignored, or did I miss another Prayer requirement?
-As for Agility, yes, that's true, but as it stands, Herblore and Prayer have recieved a massive nerf to their usefulness that makes them seem quite minor now as well. The slight change on combat Agility could offer, feels like it would be on par with what those two skills offer as well. Just for arguement's sake!
-Weapons: Sounds really awesome :D I'm glad that's something being considered!

i was under the (possibly false) impression that items with popular special attack would be given a stat buff in the beta, to keep them desirable weapons for combat. if this is true, why do all the godswords have the same stats in the beta, when the special attacks clearly have different poster levels?

You said previously (way back I don't recall how long ago) that the the proposal for loot sharing being able to see a better way to see other peoples drops and such other then adv log, has been written off but hasn't been put in due to other important things first. Will we see this before the beta goes live in the current live game? or Will you be implementing later the ability to have ls worlds in beta to test it out with the current beta system and release that proposal in the beta?
If you believe the sky is the limit, why can you see beyond it?
