First off, I love this idea!
Now the suggestions:
Screenshot of the week. (Or however often this Newsletter is realeased.)
Screenshots of Jagex supported in-game events. Assigning journalists to take these screenshots.
Just some thoughts, thanks for your time!

Id like to see hints at updates that are currently in testing. If you simply state they are in the testing phase then people wont assume it means they are out at a certain time, thus still keeping your reason as to removed the behind the scenes.
Also jagex staff should pick out 1 or 2 suggestions that they like and add those to the newsletter.
Maybe a feature a video from youtube?
Some fan pictures?
Combine the postbags and a newsletter, call it the varrock herald, make it monthly or fortnightly.

Ok, so I think it's fair to say that we're all up for this then. =)
Thanks for all your ideas and suggestions, you certainly kept me busy over the weekend reading through them all. I'll leave this thread open for a couple more days and then get to work collecting your thoughts together before coming back to you with what we can include straight away, what we may be able to include (depending on how much development work is required) and what we can't include. For the stuff we can't include, we'll come back to you with reasons why not as hopefully, that'll help us all fine tune our suggestions for the future. I hope that all sounds fair enough to you. =)
So, thanks again guys, I think we're well on the way.

EDIT: Daivo07, I don't get into game on this account as much as I'd like so we probably miss each other I'm afraid. I do go in on my home account though when I get home so I'll try and bump into you on that account and then hopefully, we can catch up. =)

Good idea I like the way you communicate with other sources such as twitter.
I'd love to see some of the behind the scenes Jagex on your youtube page, like you do dev diarys but in video footage, showing what it's all about I always love things like that, I usually buy the limited edition games and things for that reason *Snorts and Laughs*. :P
Looking forward to the newsletter though!
