RuneSpan: Will runes come randomly like ZMI, or will we be able to concentrate on specific runes if we desire? I'm hoping for specific runes and not completely random — although in the end, it still sounds like a good idea. Thanks =) )

Off Topic: Horses, Boomerangs, and dual wielding (existing weapons): Which (if any) of these content ideas are technically possible? For any that are ‘possible‘, are any of them practical enough for the game? Please Don't Feed the Forum

At Runefest there was talk of an "altar-less" rc minigame set in a factory where you exchange runes for time that can be spent earning xp in the factory. Has that idea been scrapped and turned into Runespan or is that a totally separate update?

And will there be some backstory to the Runespan? In that case can we have a little teaser there as well? :P

Though not based on the Fremennik Sagas II or Runespan, I do have a game content related question or three. :3


1. Are there any Construction related updates on the way? Particularly new rooms/room limits etc? Any chance that the room limit might be removed to allow players to fully utilise the space given to them on their POH maps to build awesome houses and mammoth dungeons?

2. Any news regarding more customisation features for our characters in the near future, particulalry new hairstyles and colour options to match/best the amount of current default clothing styles available? Perhaps even the ability to customise the looks further with two tone hairs, piercings, weight, and maybe even custom voices so our characters can speak during questlines etc.

3. Has it ever been considered as a new skill to be something along the lines of a 'create your own content' concept? For example a skill that allows players to create their own quests, minigames and dungeons, using themselves as bosses or bosses based on what quests they've completed etc, and then be able to share their creations with the rest of the community?

Mod Pi, why wasn't kennith included in the christmas event? He said he was going there after you beat salt in the wound, but he never showed up there. In fact I don't think he is anywhere in the game at the moment!

What happened to him?

Do you think the process of selecting player moderators could be improved? Many people, myself included, believe that a lot of players who would make an excellent addition to the player moderator team go unnoticed or are simply "skipped" over.

As a personal example, I've played since 2001, made this account several years ago, have never been muted/banned, prioritize security of my account, am knowledgable about basically everything in the game, report when necessary, and am generally helpful to anybody who needs it when I can be. Like so many other people, I do all of this without any expectation of being selected to be a player moderator, but I can't help but feel as though it goes unnoticed or is simply ignored.

(1) Some of the random events, I'm afraid, have lost a bit of their charm and become more tedious than rewarding. Are you considering re-vamping the random event system with nicer rewards and more challenging activities like "The Pit?" I suppose this would benefit the anti-bot campaign as well.

(2) Does Jagex plan to release statistical information concerning the drop rates of certain rare items, such as the Draconic Visage, Sigils, etc? Players have already invested tons of time estimating the drop rates themselves, but I'm sure this would sate a lot of curiosity.

(3) Does Jagex plan to return Bounty Hunter activities to the game? I sure I'm not alone when I say I really enjoyed that game back when it was around. =]
