hey everyone,
just wondered if anyone could answer this question for me:
how about if you were to win a trip to jagex + lifetime membership, but you weren`t able to make the trip to see jagex, would you still get the lifetime membership?

methinks i love meh jagex peeps. in all seriousness, this is a fantastic idea. i do honestly hope i win, but i also congratulate our future winners. this is an awesome oppurtunity for players to truly learn how RS is run and developed, and gain a further appreciation for the awesome folks at jagex! It is not wise to anger a dragon, sleeping or otherwise. For you are crunchy, and your endorphins when you flee add flavor.

I know that this may not appear a popular point of view, but an old friend once said to me "Don't ever call someone a best friend, because it devalues all of your other friends." Last year, Jagex did the same thing, saying that the trip/reward was for high-ranking and valuable players (again, like the 2010 Big Ticket, with no criteria for selection given). Members pay their membership to support a great company with a great product, and I can only speak for myself when I say that I support these funds going into continual game improvement. I don't wish to sound negative, but I don't pay membership fees so that others can receive lifetime memberships and go to parties. I understand that Jagex wants to reward and show its appreciation to its members, but this tact is...well, tacky, and I don't think in-game ramifications have been fully thought through. That being said, it's just a comment on a minor initiative, but many of the recent improvements have been wonderful and I hope that the quality of in-game improvements continues on its excellent course. :)

Just wanted my pic up because I love all the different characters on here and also to tell Jagex they're doing an awesome job! :-) I've been playing for years and I love all the changes you keep working on. THANKS! :-) It's a great game run obviously by people who care about it. You should do some kind of scavenger hunt on RS for one or a few of the tickets! Make it hard though! :-) I'd love to try to be the first to dig up a ticket with my spade! Keep up the great work! :-)
