Is it just me or is this competition aimed at foreigners?

"Imagine boarding a plane to Cambridge, England, for an all-expenses-paid trip to Jagex Games Studio."

"Will I need any documentation to travel with?

Yes, you'll need any necessary documentation to enter the United Kingdom, including a valid ********. The ticket winner will be responsible for ensuring that they bring all of the relevant documentation to enter the United Kingdom from their country of departure."

I live about 30 mins away from Cambridge, whats in it for me? Other than meeting the team, cause its hardly an "awesome holiday" is it?

Sorry to moan but it's true.

How about the "invisible" players? I know some people who are very "great" players. They are very nice and helpful. But I doubt that JaGeX ever heard of them and most likley will never hear of them. Just think of how many clans there are JaGeX doesn't know about. I bet those clan leaders are doing a great job organizing fun events for the members etc.

So how could you ever decide who is "qualifying" for that trip to JaGeX?

I agree that winners of a contest should go to JaGeX hq. But picking out random players isn't really "fair". You can get mis leaded very easy.

I used to be in a big clan before and one of the leaders organised events etc. but he was an idiot when talking to him. He didn't care what other people said and did everything what suited him (deactivating coinshare when he had most chance of getting a drop etc.(that's why I left the clan)). JaGeX could think "wow look at that guy, he leads a clan of 200 people and has organised tons of events. He sure deserves to come to England".

Now I'm not saying this will happen but I just want to know how are you thinking to avoid this to happen?

Yes, I'm very happy to see the envoirment of Jagex employess getting more involved with players and there feelings. I would love to get the mebership, not realy care for the trip, altough I'd love to go on the trip, but I don't have a chance. Lol I dont feel like spending tiem trying but there are many other people that would go. Also Congratz to whoever wings a trip, I hope they have alot of fun, and enjoy the membership. Jagex is emproving and becoming more known. When I started on a different account in 2008, I thought Jagex was a secret office building no one knew about, but I see that you guys are becoming for involed with poeple. Good luck to all!

Sounds like a load of fun, and a load of cash you guys are willing to pay for a party :O , but of course I'd expect nothing less from Jagex of all people to be willing. Good luck to all (I will try with much pessimism :P ) who work towards a big ticket!
