You know, for a game with so many servers in the UK, based in the UK, its a surpise that Jagex, who I absolutly love (the quest list sorting now really helps) didn't even think to put if you don't live in the UK. I mean, out of the 171 servers you have 18 here according to the Wiki (which is claims there are only 169, but still) that is over 1/10 of the players. I also know, that numerous English players find it annoying when asked by Americans "Which state are you in?" Please Jagex, have a little consideration over what you say, because many of your players are here in the UK, and we like to think you care about more than just America (the top market with 78 servers).
I'm not asking you to make Runescape British, I'm asking you not to innadvertantly iscolate the British community. Some of us would do anything just to see one Jagex mod in rl, yet sit right on your doorstep. I may not have figures of the location of players, but some live right on your doorstep. The reward for them for any ticket isn't the all expences paid (ie £4 for a bus) but the visiting.
It would cost very little, yet make a big difference if you were to involve your own community more. The UK isn't exactly the same as America, and you had to spend some time, for example, explaining what the first floor means. When you do one small thing to engage your own community we love it. For example just spelling "Colour" in Colour wheel the British way, makes us feel that you care about our community. I've prattled on for long enough now, but please, Jagex, don't forget your British roots, and if you did do a survey of where people live (or just looked at the IPs used) I'd be v. greatful to read that.
