Take it from me this is not easy.
You gotta have a wireless connection to the internet, either via sat uplink or through various cell networks, a source of power to keep the laptop running, a driver to keep driving you at top speeds across the countries of the world, or (and actually but can be or) a plane with wireless for laptops, that will be going around the world, with the correct destinations, non stop.
AKA this is probably gonna set him back well over 50 grand to pull off.
Good luck mate in paying the bills after and hope to god Jagex is sponsoring his whole trip or he is screwed.
Also, for added touch, how about a web cam upload of a pic of his face with the background of each area for the facebook? Or at least a pic of each area when he logs in.
