"OK, first of all let me just say this whole thing is just ludicrous.
Jagex, your acting as if Woox16 is a god.
HE IS A REGULAR PLAYER.
anyone who is maxed combat, has overloads and turmoil + decent cash stack can solo all of runescape's bosses exactly the way he did if they are persistent enough.
the only impressive thing he did was learn of a prayer glitch and used his amazing reflexes to beat the fight caves with nothing on.
Corporeal beast without food:
anyone could have done this, i remember somewhere he said it took him 50+ tries before he got lucky enough to actually kill it.
Nex Solo:
he happened to stumble upon a glitch/game mechanic that allowed him to safespot, hardly a legit solo.
i truly can't believe you are actually acknowledging a player that you learned of through youtube and glorifying him as a god in one of your updates even though his achievements in general are really not that amazing.
or is the whole reason you are acknowledging him is because he basically spit in your faces when you said corporeal beast was "unsoloable" XD?
anyway, just thought i'de throw that out there. no hate against woox, hes an awesome boss hunter but in my personal opinion you shouldn't be singling out players in your updates."
They aren't acting as if he's a god, they're allowing an experienced customer of theirs to act as an ambassador to try their new content. Every company does it, what's the problem outside of other candidates being jealous?
On another note: Prayer flashing is in no way glitching.

Exactly, how many people do you know willing to spend that much money and put that much effort into challenges for their fans?
Woox16 has always been a good addition to the community, Jagex didn't learn of him through YouTube.

if i had access to an account that is on par with woox16's (maxed stats + tons of cash) i would definetly 100% be able to do everything he has done, why? because this game is based around a "dice roll" system for hits AKA luck the skill factor of this game revolves around your reflexes and ability to switch items by clicking your mouse (SO DIFFICULT AMG! not really..)

When did someone say he wasn't?
Also, how will you assume that people who you don't have the patience to debate with due to lack of reason are children? How unreasonable for you to be so ignorant, as you like to say.
Furthermore, Woox isn't on the front page due to the reasons you continue mindlessly stating believing you are correct.
On top of that, RuneScape is more than clicking on a mouse and 'researching a monster'. Woox probably spent countless hours conducting research no one has yet, as well as the idea that killing anything requires good judgement, you're making everything you can't do look worse and worse and belittling it so unfairly.
Also, "i came here to have an intelligent debate", coming here with intentions like that are against the rules, this is a place for discussion regarding the event, not to argue for fun.
It would also be nice if you stopped treating everyone who doesn't agree with you horribly and saying they're idiots and children.

You honestly think you attack something, calculate, and wait for one of you to die? RuneScape isn't that simple, it requires strategy and judgement, for you to say you can afk the entire game is too wrong.

If they were just doing this to challenge Woox16 they wouldn't have made a post. They made a news post to INVITE anyone to come watch an experienced player try out their new content so they can maybe join in on the fun and see something new, Jagex is trying to get closer to the community and you're derailing them.

i never said prayer flashing was glitching, all i said was he used a game mechanic flaw to solo a few bosses.
the reason people are mad about this is because this isn't an update centered around the community, but more around a single player and telling the community to go watch him.
me and dison made a suggestion regarding this, instead of centering this around Woox16 completely he should have been a side show in a larger event (such as a tournament to see who could last the longest in climber/endurance mode without dying) if this "challenge" was more centered around the community and had an event to watch a bunch of top pvmers afterwards i'm sure no one would have problems with that and actually enjoy it.
if i dare say, i really don't think many people are going to show up to an event to watch him dragon claw a bunch of bosses for hours on end (mabye some of his MAJOR fans will but generally i believe the public won't bother)
that being said, jagex isn't going to change this now so all i can say is GL woox16 and jagex next time you make one of these "challenges" make it a tournament style challenge for all players that way everyone has a chance to be recognized.
EDIT: first off, i never outright called someone an "idiot" so don't put words in my mouth. also all my "aggressive" posts were in retaliation to someone attacking ME.
EDIT EDIT: explain to me which forum specific rule/game rule i am breaking by stating my opinion and giving suggestions to make better this update.
because it sounds to me like its constructive criticism which jagex is 100% open to.

Okay, lets see you max out and go solo Jad with no pots/Armour/weapons/1 prayer point. He is a very talented player, and yes, people probably could do what he does if they tried but he's spent the time learning how and coming up with these new 'Challenges' and you can respect him for entertaining the runescape community.

As soon as I heard of when he beat Jad with no armor, no items, and only 1 prayer point... boy was I amazed.
And, for the record, J-mods, Woox16 is not a guinea pig. He's a DAREDEVIL! And a legend if he is to be mentioned by you guys in one of your threads. :)
