Those are the names I choose
Why-
They all sounds fittingly inhuman (except abacus) for a slave hobgoblin mage to have, and I can also imagine a figure of considerable power using some of these.
I picked Abacus because the objects are usually associated with very old-fashioned maths, hence knowledge and the link to magic. Their simplicity linking to the hobgoblin race, and the age nodding at the medi-evil theme of the game.
