~<>~ GreenScreen Affect ~<>~
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
The GreenScreen affect adds the ability to record something you would like to have as the background of the video and later incorporate it as your background.
GreenScreen effect is great for getting angles you cannot get with your character, using the Orb of Oculus will be able to get some great angles also you could use other video footage you may have.
Many times you will see this effect used in movies to make it appear they are doing something they cannot actually do such as flying.

~<>~ How Do I Use GreenScreen Effect? ~<>~
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
**This Is The Way I Get access To This Future And Your Editing SoftWare May Be Different Or Not Have This Effect At All**
1.)Record what your going to use as your background on a green surface area. (Players Owned House Yard With Ground Decorations 'Off')
2.)Go to "Chroma Keyer" and scroll over Green Screen, click on Green Screen and drag it over the video segment where you want the effect.
3.)Try to make the background as black as you can get it and drag the "Background" of the video you want (The video footage you want to be in the background) above the footage you are using. (The players doing an emote, skill cape,ect...)

**This is very confusing to do with out seeing a video tutorial I recommend searching on YouTube how to use this effect as well as it can add a really great element to your video.**

I'm currently working on a few projects on how to use Sony Vegas/Camtasia. Along with other tips for budding Runescape video makers. Hopefully these will help. Tips on Greenscreening/masking etc..
Tried recording with the Orb Of Ocolus earlier, It actually works really well. It's an excellent way of filming other people rather than using a ring of stone behind a wall. :)

Nope no matter how many different microphones of differring qualities on different PC's in the house - I am unable to get a Microphone to record at all.
And if I am lucky to get it working, it ends up recording the electrical signal more so than the voice or any other sound, like tapping the mic.
I am left with two theories:
1: It's a conspiracy.
2: It might be to do with the sound card, but don't see how it can affect several different machine's sound cards.
I might give it a go with using a DJ mixer we've got around the place, but need a cable that connects from that to the PC which, of course, is missing. :(
If that doesn't work, I have no idea what's wrong. And it's looking more and more unlikely that I'll have this video ready for the contest.
Oh well, I'll have had fun making it anyway.

The problem may not be with you mic or sound card, at all.
It may be a playback/recording problem. You can check this by going into your control panel, and go into "Sound". Check to see if the mic is registering there, and if not, make sure it is set as your default audio device. If that is all set up, then go into your "Audio Mixer" (which should be in your task-bar) and make sure the mic, and the playback are both unmuted, and turned up to the proper volume.
If both of these two things fail, it may be a problem with the connection port your using on the computer. Try making sure its both the right port, and that it is functional.
Hope this helps
