After my exams in January, I've been tempted to try and revive the old Weekly Roleplay Night. It was really fun and great at getting the community together to build bridges between clans and promote freelance RP.

I have a few ideas on what this could look like, one being the traditional and another being that the theme changes weekly and is hosted, partly, by an already existing R.P to repeatidly shake things up and give everyone some love.

I have a question or two, although I did read this article and a few other threads, I am still a tiny bit confused about one concept:

1.) If a clan uses a City or Area as their PoK, does that mean it is claimed by them and/or that nobody else or other clans can use this area for their own Roleplay community?

2.) Am I allowed to search & recruit members, using my Vexillum, in other PoK/Areas?

3.) I have a good origin and RP storyline created, but I am nervous to publish the thread. Do I have to RP in the thread, or can it simply be informative about the roleplay theme and rules in the clan?

Using and claiming an area are entirely separate things. I could go over to The Poison Arrow in Ardougne and start roleplaying there with my friends 3 times a week, but that doesn't mean I've laid claim to the area. Generally, staking a claim to a spot involves a thread announcing such and advertising the fact.

Absolutely! Clan recruitment (even if it's tied to your roleplay) is entirely separate from the actual sphere of roleplay, and unless you're in-character planting banners around telling people "hey these guys stink come here instead", just look at it like general, basic clan recruitment.

By no means do you have to roleplay in the thread (you may have seen people posting in-character views and announcements on certain threads, but that's because it's easier and more convenient to do that than type out said announcements or letters constantly in-game whenever it's brought up.) This forum is for in-game roleplaying, and the threads in here advertise and discuss the act. Making a thread simply for recording purposes and advertising is entirely the point!
