Let me tell you of a story of pirates, adventurers and brave heroes.
A time of peace and a golden era, in the land of Albion.
Albion has always been a beautiful place, lilac flowers bursting open to the first spring day, the meadows green as can be, and corn fields gold as they shimmered, bathed in the sun.
Walking through to these fields, a cobbled path leading to the iron city gates. There housing made from oak timber beams, white plastered stone and gorgeous stained glass windows.
However I am not writing my account on the architecture, but I must admit, it was one of those sights to take your breath away.
Moving from the gate through the centre market, where the calls of fish mongers, silk traders and furniture makers caught the ears of passers by, past the cities Dawn Regal pub and onwards, to the castle itself. There, and only there, the throne of Albion was, where it resided.
That is partially where my accounts begin, it was my first day, my first time in the throne room.
I walked across the marble floor, down the Sapphire carpet, where stood suits of armour, looking inward to this almost cathedral opening. There in front, the famous stained glass window of the Ages. Depicting heroism, of the free, of the dawn of heroes.
Now fast forward 7 years, the kingdom was in full flourish, by now I had walked all 42 steps to the castle every day, made my journey into town everyday, to hear the city life. This was only as good as it would get, otherwise I would not be writing this account.
I looked across the vast city and to the sea, there out on the waves, pirates, but more than that…
Fast forward a few weeks and this time my journey to the central part of the city was filled with despair, ashes of what had been, the ruins of what should of been and the dead.
That was the day the kingdom collapsed, that was the day I had to leave.
I left for the port and so sailed across seas with a few in my company, we arrived in Runescape, finally.
