Workers

The workers are the lifeline of the desert. Menaphos would not be what it is today without thousands of labourers working endless days, months, and years. They are the backbone of Kharet Trade Goods as well. Workers are always in demand and will be paid well for good work.

Workers Uniforms vary job to job and it is best left to them to decide what to wear. (Laborers aren't rich. Outfit shouldn't cost more than 10k if wearing a purchased outfit. Cosmetic outfits within reason)

Workers will report in weekly to Ashira and let her know how many hours were worked so we can calculate the amount of resources gained. Pay will then be given based on that amount.

Armed Guards

Armed Guards protect the caravans and ships as travel is underway. They ensure safe travels to and from foreign countries. These men and women are trained in defensive combat. Guarding the Caravan is their only objective when we leave the city.

Armed Guards have a Semi-Rigid Uniform. All Armed Guards will wear Desert Shirt, Robes, and Boots as well as a Arrowstorm Cape. The Head is preferred to be left barren but if a good alternative is found then that may be worn. Gloves are guards discretion.

Novice Armed Guards may only wield Iron Sword / Longsword / Scimitar and Shield
Experienced Armed Guards may only wield Steel Sword / Longsword / Scimitar and Shield or Steel 2H Crossbow.
Veteran Armed Guards may Wield any Steel Weaponry they see fit.
Head of Security has access to a singular Black or White Weapon on top of their steel off-hand.

Armed Guards are paid per Trip and will get bonus pay should something happen. If an Armed Guard is to perish on a trip, their family will be paid full trip pay, bonus pay, and a one time payment of 5000 Gold.

When Armed Guards enter the city of a Foreign Kingdom, they will store their weapons in the caravan and only have a dagger on their person under clothes.

Unarmed Guards protect the merchants when they are in the cities of foreign kingdoms. It is a strong belief of Kharet Trade Goods that guards do not display weapons in the homes of our customers as that could be seen as a sign of distrust

Scribes

Scribes keep the paperwork moving and business flowing. The common scribe may not be the smartest but they are literate and that's what matters. Base Scribe pay is rather low but it only increases with rank. Trusted Scribes will be able to write more documents increasing their pay on a per document basis.

Scribes wear whatever is comfortable. Common robes and silks are fine.

Educated Person

We are looking for people who have received a formal education either in a foreign kingdom or here in the desert. All sorts of positions are available and they should just be requested. Job Positions are available

Proof of Education may be requested upon application. We have high standards here and a higher education means higher pay. If your services prove valuable, you can bet we will pay handsomely.

Transportation Pamphlet

Kharet Trade Goods currently offers 1 primary mode of transportation with the goal to have 3 different ways to transport all types of goods.

Land Transportation is done via Camels, Carts, and other various Beasts of Burden

Sea Transportation is done via Ships - Currently Unavailable

Magical Transportation is done via Preset Destinations - Currently Unavailable

Land Transportation

Kharet Trade Goods has many wagons and Camels available to transport all of your needs.

Currently we have 25 Carts and 50 Camels available for transportation.

Cart Quality and Sturdyness allows for the transportation of all Light and Medium Weight goods without time penalties.

Heavy Weight Goods will cause the Transport time to be doubled

Cart Construction takes 2 Days per Cart

Camel Breeding takes a Month for 2 more camels.

Carts and Animals can be rented or the Customer may provide for a reduction in Overall Trade Price

Sea Transportation

Kharet Trade Goods currently does not have any ships to transport goods

Ships can transport Light, Medium, and Heavy Weight Goods

A Rough Weather Roll (1d100) can increase time taken by 1/4

If the Customer provides ships then Trade Price will be reduced significantly

Magic Transportation

Kharet Trade Goods currently does not offer Magic Transportation as a service.

Magic Transportation is limited to Rare and Valuable Lightweight Objects

Cost varies deeply as magical costs can be very expensive.
