Lorelei Amaranth: Fairly Local by Twenty One Pilots

Though upbeat, it's a song primarily about struggling with mental illness and being doomed to a perpetual negative cycle. Still, it's a song about unity and empathy, too, a way of saying "hey, I get you, because I've been there". In the end, the singer manages to pull himself from the cycle that he got stuck in and emerges as a better person.

It's certainly a work in progress where Lorelei's concerned, but she's mellowed out over the years.



Anyanka, aka "Faceless One": Green Valley by Puscifer

It's a song about journeys and experiences. Green Valley is a song about trusting in nature and that home is something you carry with you if you're at peace with yourself and the world around you. Life is a river, always flowing. It's a common Taoist theme that you should not fight the current of things and to just continue on.

Anyanka's an old soldier now and she's come to regard Gielinor as her home and that it should be protected accordingly. War came about, so she took up arms again. It's just a matter of logic to her. If she wants to maintain her lifestyle, then there are times, albeit rare, that require her intervention. Mostly, though, she's content with a bit of nostalgia and the day to day.



Abraxas Khaldun: Killem All by KING 810

Pretty self-explanatory. He's an old soldier as well, but given that he's a Wight and his family is long gone, he has no other aspirations other than war. The thrill of combat is the only thing that truly motivates him anymore, though he's really stalwart about being honorable. I am going to break your arm so that the bone juts out and then I will stab you to death with your own insides. I will win this chess game, is what I am saying.

Going to bump this. After a long, long time, it's time for something like this to cycle back again and I don't want to bump something to Page 51 by remaking the thread.

It doubles even more so as my mind thinks about Leitmotifs.

Thalia -

At Peace - Runescape 3, Echoes of Guthix

Anger - Telos' Anima theme. I have remixed a version, faster and higher for Thalia.

Modern - Holding Out for a Hero, Bonnie Tyler.

Thalia is at her core, a Guthixian Paladin. But she embraces the teachings Guthix has given after his death, to not worship him. Her spirituality stems from the anima, as she leads with faith still, holding to her teachings even without a God, in this case, a mentor to guide her.

Through this, she has taken a stance more akin to Vianism, doing her part for the balance by trying to fight and fix what she feels is wrong in the world.

Hanae Wakihisa (Hannah Renderra) -

At Peace - Devotion - For Honor Soundtrack

Anger - Admiral Yi Drums of War, Kliner Brothers (The full version from their site, not youtube)

Modern - New Dark Ages, Bad religion

Hannah rarely has true peace. As someone who studied a school of swordplay similar to the realworld Miyamoto Musashi, she holds herself in an ever ready preperation of combat. It is nessacery for her survival.

In this regard Hannah is different from her Western-raised cousins. Born to a Wushanko father and raised there, she has her own religious practices avoiding Gods. Above all, she views that there is no true God in her mind, or true religion for a Warrior.

A Warrior must put their faith in the heat of battle to themselves before faith in a God, or in her mind, they will fall.

Aisling is not a fighter. She's usually not crass, and merely tends to her gardening. As a small, lightweight fairy standing barely a foot tall, she is often prone to getting hurt and flying into things, resulting in a bit of a poor memory. Innocent, bubbly, and generally sweet sum her up well.

Vengra, the Blue Fury -

At Peace - Down With the Sickness, Richard Cheese

Anger - Song of the Furies, Runescape 3

Modern - From The Ashes, In This Moment

Vengra was a trained killer, and still is today. But when one of her targets' mentors trapped her in slavery, she felt broken and defeated. When she was freed, she eventually was approached by Ari Elendion and Thalia Renderra to kill her old master, witnessing his death. This reinvigorated her with that spark of anger all Avernic had to their old masters.

Vengra is a being of Anger, but she is a Fury. It's only natural some variant of the Greater Fury theme would be hers.

At peace, Vengra is usually lazy, lounging about with some sort of book. The Richard Cheese version of Down with the Sickness, as a lounge song, is not only an example of the dash of sarcastic humour she has at these times, but the closest she would listen to for something truly mellow.

Osdon - Sergei Profokiev, Visions fugitives, no. 10 Ridicolosamente. Silly, jaunty, and very short little piano tune. I found it fitting, could make for a good leitmotif even though I don't think it permeates every aspect of the character.

Pakkapux - Visions fugitives, no. 7 Pittoresco. This one is longer, less of a leitmotif and more of a Program Piece that tells the tone of the character's story very well.

Pretty much the only two characters I've been able to play that also have a developed personality and story arc, so that's all I guess. The ending of the words is ALMSIVI

here comes the anime

For James I'd have to go with "Fourth Hokage" from the Naruto OST. When he's pissed it'll change to the Final Flash theme from DBZ Abridged (It's shorter and more piano-y).

Edward hasn't done much so he doesn't have a theme song yet, probably something from an anime again because I'm a weeaboo :P
