We were once accosted by a shadowy figure, maniacal in his nature yet cunning. Lord Sliske offered us a chance at legitimacy, chartering our services to cull the herd of miscreants. Thieves were once on their own and pillaging through cupboards of poorer men to satisfy their lively pursuits. Our charter from Zaros was a mercy and opportunity, bringing us to glory through pilfering his enemies and identifying the worthy amongst ourselves.

Since our time in Senntisten, we’ve lost our way. Numerous kings and courtiers sought to rid us of our keep but ruined themselves by defeating the stewards of their neighborhoods. We nurtured orphans, felons, and the damned. Our way of life is the pocket, taking from the fortunate and feeding the destitute.

Our resurgence is brought on by the return of our Lord. Whilst he seeks to reclaim an ancient power, we’re called upon once again to take from those who oppose his calling. .„¸¸,.·` |

Attack on the Guildhall

In the final days of the first week of the battle, the guildhall experienced heavy skirmishing between the Zarosian Temple Knights and the allied Saradominist-Serenist forces. Despite the best efforts of the White Knights, their forces spread thin throughout the campus and left the guildhall vulnerable for a group of shadowy figures to infiltrate the Archaeology Guild.

Galean Delmar, Guildmaster of the Thieves Guild, led a group of thugs into the guildhall to search for the lost diary of Daiyren, a prior thieves guildmaster in the Third Age. Finding an elderly archaeologist on the ground floor, he ordered her to find it as he stashed a fragment of the dig site map. Leading her upstairs under threat, Galean murdered the elder and cracked a safe near the Archaeology Guildmaster’s desk to retrieve the diary and a tablet before escaping via the balcony.

White Knights soon arrived to clear the thugs from the guildhall, dispersing them with ease. They ascended the staircase where they found the deceased archaeologist and reported the thievery back to their superiors.

The attack on the Archaeology Guild introduced the Thieves Guild as ancient allies of the Zarosians. Despite archaeologists' best efforts to conceal their research, the thieves managed to pilfer a valuable source and the locations of various artifacts to recover their lost history. .„¸¸,.·` |
