History of the World

First Age

Because the Adventurer didn't guide Jack to be a good Mage, Jack went evil. Guthix had to put Jack down to save Gielinor, alienating Seren. Seren leaves, some Elves remaining behind. They get a fever without Seren, only ceasing when Guthix leaves them Crystal Trees. Very few Elves remain, and they never do build up a great and grand society.

Second Age

Because Seren did not stay on Gielinor, Zaros never came. Without death coming to him, Loarnab becomes the Dark Imperator, the twisted Hydra God ruling Sennitisten. The age ends with Zamorak slaying Loarnab, then disappearing.

Third Age

As Guthix expelled Zamorak in the Fourth age, we know he returned, regardless of what Zenouregal claims. This results in a God War eerily similar to our own.

Fourth Age

Fairly similar, barring the lack of Elven expansion, and the increase of Divination as Guthix banishes Saradomin, Bandos, Armadyl, and Zamorak. Guthix feels he failed in his mission to give Gielinor freedom, abandoning it to sulk elsewhere. He establishes the Edicts before departing. Thus, a Sixth age is impossible as Sliske cannot kill Guthix.

Fifth Age (Renderra Archipelago)

As much of this story will involve Renderra, it's only fitting to mention what happened.

During the Fifth Age, the family relocated to the Islands far south of Asgarnia, closer to Ashdale.

While at first this seems nice, do take note that there are Crassians dominating Ashdale, and undead pirates of Rabid Jack on the seas.

The Archipelago is threatened by near constant war, and has folded, island by island, to Aethyrmont. A single city.

The family's last members cling to Aethyrmont, under the rule of Driez Renderra, who lost an eye fighting the horrors of Xau-Tak's domain. It is not a safe city.

Driez was pushed to his limits, and his family is holed up, sheltered, forced to live in the last haven they have, even as enemies assault it. It's a fragile, pitiful existence.

But it is a brief haven for those who wish to escape the horror of what the mainland has become. A last bastion of Guthixians, who oppose the Mahjarrat, who despise the Necromancers.

It is because of this, that the Wights will be welcomed. Their path of revenge suits Aethyrmont well, making it a haven for survivors.

Fifth Age (Morytania)

The Vampyres embrace the lack of Myreque, with the majority lingering underground, remaining pests at best without the Ivandis Flail. Ranis and Vanescula Drakan are eventually rejoined by Lowerniel, and begin hunting what living remain in Misthalin.

Sliske's Barrows are eerily quiet without Gregorivic, Human settlements are gone, Mort:ton remains plagued, and Canifis suffers as the lack of living humans removes their usual prey to sate the Overlord's tithing. Many Werewolves rebel, but it is in vain.

Fifth Age (Misthalin)

New Varrock was the seat of Zenouregal. With the Adventurer and Arrav having saved Varrock, many of the undead are truly dead. Living survivors and Zombie Stragglers flock to Varrock, leading to an Undead Settlement.

Lumbridge is ruled by Dragith Nurn's undead horde.

Gunnarsgrunn is destroyed from the family feud of Gunnar and his daughter.

Dorgeshkaan is fully destroyed, Dwarves eventually making contact and finding only their remains.

Draynor is ruled in fear by Draynor Drakan, feeding on survivor humans as cattle.

The Wizard's Tower is destroyed by the Red Wizard plots, unhindered without the Adventurer. The Magic war never happened, as a certain catalyst was missing to trigger it.

Fifth Age (Wilderness)

The Worshippers of the Dragonkin rose to some degree of Prominence, deciding to attack Varrock as they did otherwise. Following the Misthalani war, the civil war broke out, quickly curbstomped by the heavier Marcato / Mahjarrat presence in the Wilderness. Both sides scattered, with only a few survivors among the most elite managing to hang on to life. Now old, these Elites are experienced fighters and survivalists, still as religious as the days of their empire. Mostly.

The Marcato Coven was never stopped. The harsher Guthixian view and lack of Tears meant Choronlann, the blade that slew Lerepiel, is just a normal sword. The ''Renderra Blade'' as it is often called couldn't quell the cult, leaving them numerous and dangerous. They have carved a piece of the Wilderness as their home, under their Demon Lord.

Recently, some fly the banners of the Dark Imperator once more. These Demons, the Sixth Legion of Loarnab, seek to carve out a new empire for their Queen's glory.

Likewise, the Necrosians under Oavatos have risen, acting as horrifyingly powerful Necromancers with a goal to try and bring their God back from the dead. In actuality, these horrifying scholars simply wish to name a new God of Death.

Fifth Age (Asgarnia)

The Kinshra have taken Falador, through the power of the Horn of Reincarnation. Their Zamorakian allies hold the city, and the very un-Zamorakian method of using the Horn (As Zamorak himself didn't condone it in our timeline) has radicalized the Kinshra to become a truly sadistic fighting force.

Rimmington is plagued with a curse from the local Siren, who lures the sleeping to their eternal rest. The town is left unappealing to travellers, between this and the horrors the Necromancer Melzar commits.

Port Sarim was sort-of safe, under Kinshra rule. That is, until the Skull Slavers took many of the town. The remainder are held as Slaves by the Kinshra, or bloodbags for the Drakan.

Taverley is renamed Trolley, and Burthorpe Trollthorpe by the new Troll overlords. The Goblins have also extended the boundaries of their home.

The only safe, not-destroyed places in the whole Kingdom are the White Knight's fortress, a last hold-out of the Saradominists, and the Dwarven Mines that house a resistance force.

Fifth Age (Kandarin)

Khazard has destroyed the Tree Gnome Village.

Hazeel rose once more, and now has taken control of Ardougne from Lathas.

With Merlin trapped, the witch Morgan le Faye controls Camelot with her Renegade Knights, maintaining alliance with the Kinshra of Falador.

Piscatoris is outright devoured by Sea Trolls.

Yanille is enslaved by Ogres, as their defences crumble. In addition, the Order of Ascension still exists, preying on new targets from the Ogre's slave pits.

West Ardougne has no plague, as the Elves never rose to power. But the presence of Iban cuts off the Elven lands for any fleeing humans. The Elves remain secluded and isolated from the world.

The Tree Gnome stronghold slowly died from Glouphrie's actions, forcing Gnomes to hide in resistance camps, or ally with the ''Chaos Gnomes.''

Fifth Age (Fremennik)

Possibly the Saddest stories. Rellekka is raided by Daggannoth, slaying all but a few of the population.

Jatizo and Neitiznot are also attacked by Ice Trolls, unable to fight off the King. Eventually they are broken, and the Ice Trolls wage war on the Daggannoth.

The Mountain camp refuses to help Rellekka fight the Daggannoth, and hides in the mountains, only for the expanding Troll country to force them into a corner they couldn't survive.

The Moonclan die out, as the Daggannoth come, and they still remain disconnected from their siblings. It was a harsh fight, but they couldn't win.

The Kingdoms of Miscellania and Ecteria are forced into a war, fighting with eachother to a degree that when the Daggonnoth came too, for them, they couldn't defend themselves.

Today, the entirety of the Province is dominated by Wolves, the Daggannoth, and Trolls.

The one saving grace of Rellekka, is as Ragnarok comes, the Einherjar rise from their graves at Eir's request, slaying all monstrosities to their last breaths.

Fifth Age (Kharidia)

If you thought the Wilderness was bad...

Al Kharid is left with no Emir, no heir. With this, Menaphos moves in for an attack.

Amascut rules the Desert in full. Crocodiles attack the people by the river with insatiable appetite.

Kalphites and Scarabites assault all who dare go underground.

Apmekan's Ears, Eyes, and Mouth attack and enforce Amascut's rule, holding Kharid against the undead hordes of Misthalin.

Nardah dies of thirst, unable to shed faith in Saradomin and regain Elidinis' favour.

The one region ruled by a truly divine being, the Desert is by far the most dangerous.
