If you are seriously interested in joining this group then you are expected to conduct yourself like a respectful, mature adult. That is the only rule that applies to all roleplayers. Failure to exhibit acceptable behavioral affect will result in a swift kick out of Misthalin.

Varrock

The pride of Misthalin, home of the Grand Exchange and the palace. Arguably the richest city in Gielinor. Directly under the command of Maria Fauster.

Lumbridge

One of the older cities of Misthalin, Lumbridge is the breadbasket of Misthalin. It is currently under the leadership of Nicholas Lavelle, Jr.

Draynor

Recently returned to Misthalin, Draynor serves as a strategic location that links the Wizard's Tower to the rest of Misthalin. Led by Daisy Lavelle.

Silvarea

The eastern-most province of Misthalin, Silvarea is under the leadership of Leila Gauntier and her family.

Edgeville

The province west of Varrock, Edgeville was the scene of a vicious dragonkin attack years ago. It has since recovered. Home of a Saradominist monastery.

Anachronia

An island lost to time, Anachronia is claimed by the Kingdom, and a small colony is established there. No nobility has been granted reign over the island, however. Its people are considered Misthalite citizens and are under the protection of the Misthalite army.

This is the rank structure for Misthalin. Maria Fauster is the absolute monarch of Misthalin. Directly below her are her advisors and various dukes and duchesses. Below that are the military generals and elite soldiers of the Kingdom.


Queen Maria the First


Absolute monarch of Misthalin. Answers only to her own conscience. Responsible for leading the Misthalite admin/development team, directing team members, and assumes overall responsibility for the roleplay group. Played by Salt Aren.


Leila Guantier

The queen's closest advisor, Leila Guantier presides over the Duchy of Silvarea, east of Varrock. Played by Wizard Ovi.

Victor Runeweiss (Deceased)

A close advisor to the queen, Victor Runeweiss presided over a small territory near the border of Al Kharid. His territory has now been claimed by Victoria Mordeaux.

Victoria Mordeaux

A newcomer to the Kingdom of Misthalin, the Bandosian Victoria Mordeaux presides over a small territory near the border of Al Kharid that once belonged to Victor Runeweiss. Played by Khaji.

Daisy Lavelle

The leader of Draynor Village and one of Maria's closest friends.

Nicholas Lavelle, Jr.

The new Duke of Lumbridge, Nicholas Lavelle is new to the leadership position, but has served Lumbridge well as the steward before being appointed to his current station.

Kandarin

Viewed as an ally by the queen, Kandarin is the only nation in Gielinor presently that can match the might and has the prestige that Misthalin commands. Some tensions have arisen recently, however, between the two powers.


The Kingdom of Falador

Held in average standing. The queen is a friend of the Grandmaster of the White Knights, and Misthalin has numerous cultural and religious similarities to Asgarnia. The new king, however, is unknown to Maria.


The Desert

Held in high regard by the queen, the Desert is ruled by the Pharaoh Nekhritesh. Several treaties tie Misthalin to the Desert, and it is formally viewed as an ally.


Morytania

Once the sworn and everlasting enemy of the Kingdom of Misthalin, the current leadership of Misthalin views Morytania with less disdain than their predecessors did. Informal relations are kept with the werewolves of Canifis, though the Vyre are still considered hostile to the Kingdom.


The Fremmenik Lands

No formal relations exist between the Kingdom of Misthalin and the Fremmenik.


Karamja

No formal relations exist between the Kingdom of Misthalin and Karamja. Brimhaven is viewed in a negative light due to the widespread use of slavery there.



Tirannwn

No formal relations exist between the Kingdom of Misthalin and the Elves, but informal relations exist and are considered positive. Prifddinas is considered to be friendly due to the Elves' aid in fighting against the Elder Gods.

† Application System †




New Members

Misthalin will not use the typical application system that you are familiar with. Instead, characters who wish to join should submit an in-character letter here on the forums, to the Queen, stating their name, interest in becoming a citizen of Misthalin, faith, and experience. If you are familiar with letters of intent then this is essentially a short version of such a letter.

After the letter is received and read a date and time will be organized for an introduction roleplay, and if your character is accepted by the Kingdom they can begin their life anew in Misthalin.


Returning / Current Members

For those members of the last variation (Justin's, under King Janus) of Misthalin, citizenship is automatically extended to your characters and your names will appear on the census. If you wish to be removed from the census, please leave a message on this thread and your name will be taken off.
