Three large, ground shaking explosions took out a portion of the bank, the Wise Old Man’s house, and the guard station near the jail
. Fires roared deep into the night as the local guard formed a bucket brigade in an attempt to put the flames out. Several correctional officers were killed in the explosion at the jail, and a few civilians had been badly burned as a result of the attacks.
Generous local benefactors like the Wizards’ Tower and the Hunt-Macmillan Corp. used their resources and people to assist in short order. Merchant Marines, students, wizards and sailors dispersed to help local forces secure the market from looters and provide medical aid and damage control. The local guards made sure that these individuals
all would receive reimbursement
for everything they had contributed, noting names, organisations and instances that would soon receive gold pieces and letters of appreciation in the name of the Kingdom of Misthalin and the County of Draynor. About two thirds of this payment would be coming from personal funds that were held by Countess Daisy and the rest would be drawn from the public coffers.

It seemed the terrorism that had surfaced in Varrock was not confined to the capital and it did not take long for local authorities to take some necessary actions to put a halt to these acts of terror. To inform the citizens of Draynor and those traveling through it the following measurements were published in a few local newspapers' sections of civil announcements that had a distribution area in Draynor, Lumbridge, Port Sarim and Varrock:

Irregular checks of wares and cargo entering the village.
Refusal of inspection will be condoned
for now
but those that refuse will be recorded and put on a watchlist. Inspections will carried out by Market Guards in Draynor and will be done by Lumbridge Guards at the borders.

Vigilantes will be trailed less severe should any of their actions bring harm to a sympathiser of the movements
linked to these riots and bombings. The authorities express strong preferences in honourably detaining these people over straight up killing them.

The Ministry of Justice of the Crown will be granted full access to all police and justiciary records
to perform better background checks, up-to-date watchlists and easier access to civil archives of those living in Draynor.

Anyone caught buying or selling products that could be linked to the creation or distribution of high calibre explosives will be lawfully detained
as they will await a fair trail in custody of the Ministry of Justice.

The bank of Draynor will remain closed for as long as repairs are taking place.
Remaining possessions in said bank will be transported to Lumbridge for temporary safekeeping and those holding their goods in Draynor will be informed accordingly.

A low-level official received a letter from a prisoner in Varrock. The author urged it was sent as quickly as possible to avoid punishments like the pillories or worse. Maybe they passed it up the chain immediately. Maybe it made its way up quickly. Maybe it was forgotten about for a period of time. Eventually it'd reach someone who had some real authority. Hopefully.

I have been wrongfully arrested and imprisoned. I understand the circumstances of my arrest appear to be cut and dry, but I am innocent. I was only defending myself. Even though I am a student of the tower, I understand you may not trust my word given what is going on. I have friends at the Blue Moon Inn who can vouch for my strength of character, and can provide proof that I am innocent. If that is not enough, I am prepared to publicly reject my faith and embrace Saradomin's teachings.
I am also worried about my possessions that were confiscated. I have written a list so that they can be accounted for.

Yes! This is still ongoing, and is active in the sense that there is still an effort to centralize what remains of PoK community RP within the boundaries of the Kingdom of Misthalin RP. We are far more active in our Discord server than this thread, which is where we organize most of our RP, in-game or otherwise, but we do still currently use this to notify others about our events and document things. If you add me in game, i should be available 8am to 12pm PT most days, or after 10pm PT. I'm free on Sundays and Mondays, so that's when I'll likely be on most.
If you're interested in joining the RP, feel free to message me back here when the best time for you to chat in game.
