Part Two - White Banners, Steel Lances.
The decision had been made by Grandmaster Edmund's mismatched war council. They would ride to the village of Lamfurt up north, where the rebels under the banner of Estan Malburke where storing their food supplies to be sent up north, rather than tackle the town of Forbeth, where their levies were stationed.
In a dark, dim room lit only by pale light that spilled through the narrow windows and a lowly-burning hearth in a white-marble fireplace, dotted and streaked with grey veins, Edmund sat with his hands clasped above the war table. From Falador, he pushed two wooden figurines towards Lamfurt.
Reminder for Friday.
