The de la Haut line hails from Asgarnia, a long line of 'Soldier-nobles' - one of the many derogatory epithets given to the noble family by other Asgarnian houses, though perhaps as much out of envy as derision. The family has always been one of the most devout and fanatical voices of Saradominism in the Kingdom, being a useful tool of Falador kings to rally the faithful during crises involving the Kinshra or other heathens and a fanatical nuisance during times of tranquil peace. Between their peace-time warmongering and stronger likeness to a warrior family than members of the gentry, these eager crusaders have found little opportunity to gain increased influence amongst their noble peers.

During the siege of Falador in Year 164, the head of the de la Haut line lead a charge against the retreating Kinshra forces, pursuing them into the forests near Falador with a characteristic zealous vigour. Although a dubious claim, many soldiers who witnessed the blonde haired Haut's charge sincerely believed it was this attack which broke the Kinshra lines and repulsed them from Falador. In recognition, this ancestor of Balthazar was begrudgingly granted the honorary title of 'The Golden Flame' by the king of Falador. It is a title still claimed by the house's ablest warrior and paragon of the faith to this day.

Balthazar is another golden flame in the forge of evangelism, groomed from birth to carry a legacy that has endured in the family for generations. As a man himself, Balthazar is just another minor noble. But as the Golden Flame, Balthazar is the greatest picture of divinity a mortal living in the shadow of Saradomin's light can aspire to be. A warrior who will endure for a thousand years, across a thousand faces.

In pursuit of bearing this privilege, Balthazar has been pledged to the Order of Light by the de la Hau line. Having previously served with the White Knights in falador, he was found to be too zealous and radical there even for 'his ilk'.

Name: Sir Trischin of Zharkam

Age: 30's (Presumed)

Race: Human (Kharid-Asgarnian Descent)

Religion: Saradomin (Lip-service), Zamorak (Behind closed doors)

Profession/job: Knight

Socio-economic standing: Landless Knight

Character Alignment: Lawful Evil (Willing to do what is necessarily evil to achieve a greater good whilst following a strict code of conduct.)

Skills: Skilled Swordsman, proficient in a blade and main gauche. Renowned for his use of knife-play. Marksmanship: He is quite skilled in the bow as well, favouring a Composite over other variants.

Traits:
- Secretive: He keeps his origins and upbringing a secret. Remaining as elusive as his tales suggests
- Cunning: For all his finesse in combat, he is a cunning foe. Using surprise and unconventional tactics. This carries forward in all things.

Story: Said to be a descendant of House Zharkam from the regions of Asgarnia, a family once granted lands and titles for their loyal services to the realm. Uplifted to minor nobility as thanks. This once prominent house all but struck from the books as they were one of the few nobility on the side of the Kinshra. Disappearing from the all records, the family went into exile.

Now, nearly a century later after the near-end of the 5th Age, one of this illusive house returns. Seeking redemption, he paid it back during the tourneys. Showing skill and valor as he hoped to be knighted- And that he was. Showing considerable skill in marksmanship and swordplay, winning the Melee Tournament and earning the medallion of strength as a reward.

Gaining recognition as a knight of the realm, he swore his oaths afore the altar of Saradomin. How much of it was honest, none could tell. Yet, he did such and was granted his title. Now a knight of the realm, questing and seeking his fame.

Did you read the rules?: Yup! *Begrudgingly says* "Zamorak Smells*

Other: Thought I'd give it a try, finally a group in 41W
