Necrite

-Still Theoretical

Many studies and experiments have pointed towards very unusual signs of large bodies of ore under Morytania. Other than Daeyalt, Morytania is not known to have any large ore bodies, and this ore is unidentifiable. It matches no known ore signature (Iron, Mithril, Adamant, Runite, Orikalkum, etc), and so warrants further exploration. A mining trip to Morytania is in planning.

Current Theories
The legendary armour that the Barrows Brothers of morytania used is supposedly made from an unknown material, more powerful than Orikalkum. While the exact location of this armour is unknown, it is possible that the armour they used was Necrite, and the armour seen in modern-day (which is claimed to be a dark, withered green) is exceptionally well-made Necrite armour, withered by age to look closer to steel.

Another theory, supported by a small scrap of paper found in
[REDACTED]
, suggests that this material might be a mix of Third-Age metals warped by dark magic and bloodshed over a long period of time, however the validity of this is unknown.

Aetherium

Discovered in the
[REDACTED]
,early 6th age

Properties
Aetherium has a shiny white-blue look to it, is, relatively speaking, a lightweight metal, and is unbelievably powerful, being able to withstand heavy strikes from exceptionally powerful weapons, as well as being able to absorb heavy magical strikes. It resists almost any attempt to warp or deform it, and smelting and smithing it is borderline impossible with modern-day technology. Research is being done on methods to make Aetherium workable in a practical manner.

Aetherium seems to be very resistant to age-based weathering, as the set of armour recovered from
[REDACTED]
proves to be at least
[REDACTED]
years old, and is completely untarnished.

Acquisition
The Aetherium armour recovered from
[REDACTED]
may prove to be key in locating Aetherium on Gilenor, or at least, the components which make up Aetherium. If Aetherium is not primarily located on Gilenor, then the Off-World division of
The Helix
will be tasked with attempting to find it's original source.
