I have a question regarding your current activity list on page 30. Is my instructor character's absence from the activity list/character roster which of the following: (1) a mistake; (2) an avoidance of player-character redundancy; or (3) a part of the cutting down on Guild staff noted upon during the last meeting I attended?

I don't mind if it's the last, but I'd love to be informed of changes like this.

Brief history:


"I was born in the beginning of the 3rd age, after the death of Zaros and during the Zarosian empire downfall. Soon I joined the ranks of Nex army. During Nexs attempt to secure the area around the Mahjarrat ritual site Nex, together with her army, was imprisoned by the Saradomin monks. Saradominists enchanted us into a frozen sleep during wich I did not age. After few thousand years Sliske managed to trick Saradomin monks into releasing Nex and her army once again.

After the awakening Nex started a battle against all the other gods. The god factions could not face her alone, so they united to fight her. This was the moment I managed to split apart from the rest of Nex army and attempted to escape the prison. Despite the Zamorakian demons chasing after me and Saradominist mages blocking my way, I managed to found my way to the surface.

When I climbed out of the prison, I faced a great snow storm outside. So strong, I could not see where to go. However, the path provided by the god of Control was bright as it always was. I managed to make my way to the forgotten Zarosian fortress known as Ghorrock. There I found a shelter from the cold. After searching the dungeons beneath it I found enough runes for a single teleport. I used it to get to Varrock."

Evan was born into a low-income family in Witchaven. The only source of income for the family was his father's employment on the Fishing Platform, which only paid pitiful wages for whatever could get reeled in. He had to work early and didn't come home until late at night, giving him limited sleep and almost no time with his family.

On a hot, long Fentuary day, his father went out to work....and never came back. Since Evan barely saw him, he didn't know about the disappearance. When more and more civilians were disappearing, only then did he know.

Various conspiracies were forming among the citizens -- Was it suicide? An accident on the platform? This? That? -- Many unanswered questions. Even satirical thoughts were taken seriously by some of the most concerned people.

Within the next two weeks or so, some of the fishermen began to return to the village. But something wasn't right.. Their skin was yellow, they acted all goofy, and they seemed to adopt an affinity for slugs.

Everyone, including Evan, caught on to the fact that something must have been up with the Fishing Platform. A mob of armed and angry citizens boarded a small rowboat to try to sort it out themselves. Evan wanted to join in, but they pushed him off because the boat was full.

That boat, and the people, didn't come back.

Returning to his home, Evan was shocked to see his mother with the same affliction as the other citizens. Did someone infect her? Did she fall to this too? Has anyone else not been affected yet?

He lied, telling her he would go check it out, and quickly backed out of there. He wasn't that much of an idiot. Seemingly his only option, he decided to leave for Ardougne.

A couple days' hike and he was in Ardougne. Never having been there, he looked for the most populated building. Yeah, the bar. Upon entering the bar, the first thing Evan heard were two drunk people talking about some "combat academy" out in the desert. Hearing about this sparked a desire for him to learn how to use weaponry well, and hopefully return to slay the slugs himself and save Witchaven. After more prowling of Ardougne, he was able to meet up with a local wizard that could teleport him near the supposed "academy", since he did not know teleportation spells himself.

Upon arrival, he began to ask around for directions, hoping to start a new chapter of his life.
