As the men gathered in the hall, they saw their baron, being lead by an eastern looking man some recognized as Councillor Leng. The baron seemed different, he seemed to struggle to walk. The baron looked to the councillor who nodded. "Loyal Kinshra, the Kinshra have suffered a dreadful sneak attack by the notorious Pact of Dragons. But fortunately we were prepared for it, thanks to Councillor Leng's plan to plant 2 of our most valued Kinshra members: "Shone Markov" and "Ryder Steele" who have been feeding imformation on their movements for the past few months. It was with their help that we successfully defended against the attack with minimal casualties. Heil Kinshra!" he shouted. There was a loud cheer from the crowd.
"But, while the pact still remains we cannot be safe. Therefore I am stepping down as Baron, and I will be making my own crusade against their last remnants." he said. There was a general murmur, and some gasps from some of the Baron's greater fans. "In my place, I am making Councillor Leng interim Baron, he will address you now" he said, a high ranking knight came and helped Samael off the stage, some may have thought he didn't seem himself.
The eastern man in the blue robes, blue rimmed spectacles and blonde hair spoke. "Loyal Kinshra, my family have supported the operations of the Kinshra for a long time. We have supplied your faction with many weapons you strike your foes down with, and our gunpowder supplies the cannons you use to knock down your enemies walls. Your Baron has granted you equality within Asgarnia, after all this time. But that is not the end. We need to make the Kinshra strong again, we need to prepare for when our Lord Zamorak calls for us, we will be the strongest army in all of Gielinor and crush all foes our Lord demands of us. Praise Zamorak, Heil Kinshra!" he shouted.
There was a loud response of 'Heil!' back. Was this the beginning of a new era, who could say?
