Sorry about our recent forum inactivity, we've hit a few bumps in the road. Our fearless and loving leader, Daniel, has had some serious health complications in which I have no business delving into here. As well, a lack of internet connection has created a difficult time for him to participate in our activity.
Administrators have agreed to name Eli and myself as the temporary leaders of the clan as result. Pray to God, Allah, Zeus, even the atom, for Daniel's health, it is looking brighter by the day.
Heavy snows fell upon the great Sunrise Kingdom, the sound of the normally bustling streets silent aloft the white blankets. However, the loyal and brave citizens of Kandarin travel to the walls of King Jon's castle to light candles and whisper prayers to their gods. The dark skinned Chancellor, Salavus Rivier, stepped into view on top of the wall with heavy furs and a reddened nose.
Brave citizens of Kandarin, it warms my heart more than the sun warms our skin this day, to see you risking the sickness of wintumber to be here. It is true, our King has taken the ailment born of the cold, but his spirit still burns for you. News of your gathering has met his ears and brought a smile to his face for the first time in many days. In his stead, the court physician, Edolas, and I will be acting as regents. Rest assured, the sun still shines behind the clouds above us, and the long night will end.
“I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.”
The sound of fanfare erupts suddenly from across the River Dougne, as the cold, brisk breeze and its blankets of suffocating erode away day by day. The portcullis, in slow fashion, ascends from the cracked, cobblestone road leading onto the courtyard of the Castle Ardougne, where days prior the opening of court would have been promised. So through the arching walkway, below the fortifications laid and guarded by men of the King, and past the banners of crimson and white, they came, and as they came onto the Sunlit Hall, they might happen upon a most warming sight: upon the throne, sat a man whose golden hair shone by the Winter's sun. The Knights surrounding him stood at attention as the man of regal stature stood with his eyes cast upon the arrivals with a smile. The King has returned. From his mouth, the words were spoken clearly, without sign of illness nor bleak.
"The court of Kandarin welcomes you; step forth, and make yourself known."

Annnnnd, hello, my friends. As mentioned before, I have been unable to come online too frequently due to some issues in the real-world, but with my internet access (finally) returning yesterday, I am ready to step back onto the plate.
I want to thank Nick and Eli for taking up leadership in my absence, and those of you who were patient with me and the conditions of my leave.
We have a month to make up for, my friends, so let's get back into groove and make the best of tomorrow.
