The Great Marcato
Calvaghn the Marked - Arrenda. Creator of the Primal Scream, and in turn a powerful Warmage. His children took his marking of clarity, the circle and triangle, and used it to promote a clear head free of rage in their magical school, in turn calling themselves "the Marked Ones."
Vascora Marcato the Undying (The first) - The first true Marcato, Vascora was a great mage with inherent magical ability. He was taken from the slave pits, where he was born as a 'marked one' captive; to a Tribune within the legions. Having defected to Zamorak, he joined Lerepiel, serving as the left hand of the demon. When his age began to wear on him, Lerepiel taught the man how to keep his soul trapped within a locket, but unlike wightdom maintain control. These soul traps became a tool Vascora used, proudly removing flesh from bone to serve throughout the god wars with his demonic friend and master.
Vascora met his end when Tyrion Renderra the first shattered his soul trap with the Renderra blade, Choronlann.
Vascora the Venomous (The Second) - As Vascora the first died, and Lerepiel was banished, Vascora the Venomous rose as a poisoner of body and mind. A long plot was orchestrated against the Renderra who hurt them; as she saw the crafting of a great staff of Bloodwood and Bakriminiel, founding a veritable Queendom of liches. She rose from the ashes of the God Wars, and crowned herself Lich Queen, head of the Marcato coven. Vascora II eventually met her end due to the combined might of Ali Abdul'Qadir the Great, and Tyra Renderra, Bane of Vor'Skek. Vor'Skek, an undead dragon, is believed to be the work of Vascora the Venomous as well.
