The Temple
... ˜'°¤¸


The Warden's temple is the Order's main base of operations. It lies deep within the desert near Menaphos, on a hill, far from civilization. The venture there is the first step in becoming part of the Order. Whilst most of the temple is still in disrepair, Carex has ensured the presence of the necessities, as well as carving protective enchantments into the walls which protect the inhabitants from desert heat, as well as other dangers. This allows the Order to farm part of their supplies, as well as spar in and near the Temple's vicinity.

A: The High Warden's Office
This is where Master Carex works, and where he holds private meetings. The room contains many of his belongings, a large desk with a few chairs, some mostly empty cupboards and bookcases, as well as a foldable bed.

B/C: The Bedrooms
These are the lodgings for the Order's members. Whilst OOCly these appear as two rooms with multiple beds in them, ICly all bedrooms are split, so these rooms can be used as a scaled bedroom for every individual member. They contain little more than a simple bed, a chest for personal belongings, a bedside table with candles, and a bucket.

D: The Archive
This room acts as the Order's main spot for everything that has to do with books. Storing collections as a library, a place to study, as well as writing them. If it's on paper, or if it can be on paper, this is where it belongs. Currently it contains a large writing table, a couple of chairs and smaller tables, and a lot of empty crates, bookcases, and shelves.

E: The Kitchen
This is where everything food-related takes place. When people have to eat, the kitchen is where it will be prepared. Currently it contains a stove, a sink, a couple of empty tables, some barrels, crates and shelves both empty and filled with some basic supplies, and a selection of kitchen utilities such as pans, plates and cutlery.

F: The Mess Hall
Eating is usually done together, on set times. This is where this room comes in. It is directly connected to the kitchen, and contains little more than a few large tables with chairs.

G: The Bell Tower
This large tower contains a rusted mechanism, that once repaired can keep track of time. It also has space for a large bell, which could be used for warning purposes. Currently it contains little more than a rickety staircase and empty shelves.

The underground part of the Temple consists of two rooms. One of which is the main storage, and currently contains a ton of shelves, mostly empty, with a few basic supplies. The other room is entirely empty.

I: The Chapel
This room serves as a ritual site, a large hall where the most powerful of the Order's magics can be performed. Currently it is empty and dusty, save for a few pillars.

J: The Prison
When something dangerous has to be temporarily contained for whatever reason, these rooms serve as a containment. Currently they are completely empty, save for the solid iron doors that lock them away from the rest of the Temple.

K: The Court.
This large space binds the entire temple together, and is the main gathering spot for the entire Order. It is also used as a sparring ground, as it is the only nearby open space that falls under Carex's protective spells. It contains a functioning fountain that connects straight to an underground source of clean water, as well as a simple farm where multiple vegetables are grown.
