*As gods departed Gielinor so a kind of simple peace reigned across the land, their power dissipating from the world with every passing second. At long last, the dust had finally settled, and the wars were largely at an end.

Then it came. A high cruel laugh that pierced the ears of all that heard it, and so many did for it was magically directed across Gielinor to all the Kings and Emperors, Lords and Ladies, Knights, Warriors, Mages and Merchants. Anyone in short that the Dark Lord Pyro considered important enough to be worthy of the message.*

"You fools! Did you think it was over?

This most recent interference by the so-called 'World Guardian' has ensured only one thing: that all of you who still remain are trapped on this world... with me.

There are none now that remain who possess the power to defy my will and alone of all of the leaders of this world I have held my armies in reserve. The battles have been many and now your numbers are so very, very few.

This is why I make this offer now to all of you in turn.

To those of my Zamorakian brethren who do not already serve me: I will not begrudge Bilrach and K’ril their fight for supremacy but I invite you to join me instead, for I have greater conquests in mind.

To the warlords and generals of bandosian warriors: For too long your people have wandered this world aimless and divided, treated as cannonfodder by the other gods during the siege of Senntistein. Now I offer you new direction, to come to my fortress in Forinthry and either submit, or each face me in combat. I promise a fair fight, a clean death, and a glorious new war for your armies. To any who hesitate to take up this challenge know that your warriors know of it as well and would destroy you for any hint of such cowardice.

To the surviving Zarosians on this world: I offer annihilation only. Zarosia has been wiped clean and the rest of your people will soon follow. No longer will you be permitted to lurk in the shadows weaving new plots. "The greatest endeavors are achieved because of their selfless intent"

To the Saradominists: Now is the time to reject the shackles of your failed god. Saradomin lost the right to his authority when he lost his crown and finally accepted this when he choose to abandon you to my power, knowing he could have stayed Lord Zamorak's hand only by showing some humility and true dedication to his people. Instead, he showed he would sooner sacrifice the lives of all of you than bend the knee. He can offer you nothing now but further lies meant to keep you subservient. Many have already seen the light and joined me in building a new world, one in which the Order of the White Flame will maintain such order as needs to exist to protect the people of the great Kingdoms from the dangers of this world.

To the Armadylians, so-called "Godless" and the remaining Guthixians: Join us or stay out of our way. Enough blood has been spilled in the pursuit of your pointless ideologies and further aggression will do nothing to advance your ridiculous goals. -OOC stuff-

So I will update the rest of the thread later but this is for now simply the announcement of intent towards a final storyline for Pyro.

As is evident from the above posts the self-proclaimed "God of Fire" has now gone completely nuts and is bent on using his relatively undamaged army to lay claim to all of Gielinor (and believe me his plans only get crazier from that point on).

The basic outline for this RP will be that following his initial strikes against Gielinor an unlikely band of heroes will be prompted to band together and (with a little unexpected help) take on a series of wildly different challenges (political, questing, investigation, combat) to thwart his plans and gain the advantages necessary to take the fight back to the King of Forinthry. My hope is that the remaining roleplayers will consider engaging with this idea but if not I had fun writing the concept for this brief intro regardless.
