Welcome all new adventurers to the Academy of Heroes!

We welcome all aspiring heroes to join our academy and make a name for yourself!!

Our group would like to specifically invite all new roleplayers to join!
We offer a safe environment for you to learn the basics of roleplay!

I would like to welcome all to the reestablished Academy of Heroes!
I will be starting back in our roleplay as the premier school to teach characters combat and skills in-game. We will be viewing all applications from students who wish to learn.
Our roleplay will be based on giving people a legitimate backstory to their characters and giving them a chance to grow their character's abilities rather than just making them up.
We will also host events and group roleplays with other groups as announced.

I will also be looking for 3 masters, 1 from each school of combat, to become teachers at the school. These must be established characters who have participated in other roleplays. You also must prove yourself to be fluent as a role player and have a proficient ability to convey the actions of your characters as well as teaching others.

With us restarting this roleplay we will be looking for those who are interested in joining long-term and is willing to be active enough to help us grow. After all the more people we have the more fun everyone will have.

I will be working on creating a directory for the forums over the next week. If you would like any information on property ownership or creating alliances with our school please let me know on the forums and I will get with you as soon as I can.

The Current State of the Abbey

The Abbey is currently used by both the Academy of Heroes and the Arbiters of Honor.
The Abbey stands as you see it in game.
The current noticeable differences are:
A large fire statue created and sustained by magic stands within the courtyard.
The dancing area to the south of the Abbey has been converted into a dorm for students.
The basement has had a spa and bath area put in.
The front gate has had multiple large arbalests mounted on it that fire volleys of arrows.
A large wooden gate has been put up that can be opened with a lever inside the Abbey.

A brief look at our history:
We are based out of the Abbey located East of Al Kharid. Our group was established by the great Eshebi Kash as a group to help start out new roleplayers and establish a basis for what real roleplay is. It became an enjoyable roleplay that took part in group roleplays with nearly every large group at the time. We attracted a wealth of people who became students and became one of the largest groups on w42. After a few years of prosperity and the group passing along to 3 different owners, it came to be run by a man named Thorn. He ran the school well and successfully protected it against multiple attempts to harm students and faculty by a group roleplaying an evil clan. He eventually was manipulated into turning on his students and was slain by his fellow teachers. This scared away many students however the school is now preparing to reopen with new management and prove ourselves to once again be a premier roleplay group.
