I was recently made aware of my promotion to Commander, and so felt it fitting to post this here, where all can see it, and where it can later be referenced.
Before I begin, I want to thank Lianna for her invaluable contribution to the clan. Though many contributions have been made by our members, she has put in many hours of organizing and cajoling together role plays, and in doing so has brought about the most impressive clan revival I've experienced, and I am both amazed and grateful for her dedication to our group. I am honored as her successor.
However, I feel that it is necessary to say that, naturally, I am not Lianna, and as Commander, there will be numerous notable differences. Namely, many of you will find that I am a much more demanding leader; I will undoubtedly ask much more of you than has been asked in the past, especially if you are of higher rank. That said, I will never demand more from you than that which I am willing to perform myself. But the simple fact of the matter is that, due to outside obligations, I lack the time and stamina to organize so many role plays as Lianna, and so I will encourage a greater propensity for initiative from members,
especially those which have or wish to attain the rank of an Officer.
But I do not wish to be harsh nor unreasonable. If there is ever a dispute within the clan, especially over my decisions, please communicate your concerns to me immediately. I highly value advice, and am always happy to have counsel. However, please do so privately, and respectfully, as I will not tolerate disorderly conduct within the clan. I cannot stress this enough; I want to know if there are issues, but any conduct which will compromise the clan will not be tolerated.
I do not believe I am alone in my desire to see this clan continue to thrive and grow, and I want to help foster that growth. And I believe that, if we work together, we can all make that happen. Feel free to contact me with any concerns.
