A small, sealed letter would find itself to the kingdom of Forinthry, adressed to the king at the time, Lord Bane the first.

On behalf of
Helix Metalworks Incorporated
, owned jointly by myself,
Jikrak De'Terro
, and primarily my colleague,
Proteus Gales
, we wish to talk with you about the purchase of one of your mining pits, putting forth the offer of
1500 gold
(Or
150,000 regular coins
) for the initial purchase of the mining pit, as well as a tax to your kingdom of any and all materials we collect.
Additionally, as we intend to set up a fully-fledged mining operation, not simply a small mining pit, we will likely be transporting in heavy equipment from time to time. Due to the location of your kingdom, I would ask that those convoys, as well as those carting them out of Forinthry, be protected by your men and jointly mine. In return, the tax on materials will be increased to be fair.
Here's hoping that both of us can benefit from this

During the Camelite ball, the Elf-Lord Nolfinwe Telemmaitë accused Lord Bane of Forintry of treason against the realm, that he intended to sow the Zamorakians seed of chaos to disrupt the delicate peace that has finally arrived. Lord Bane denied these accusations, and stated that it was Nolfinwe himself that was guilty of said treason. As such, the following parties are called to Ardougne, to be given trial to determine which of them is guilty:
Lord Bane of Forinthry
Lord Nolfinwe of Hailawen
If either party fails to arrive to their trial, they will be assumed guilty.
In the case of Nolfïnwe Telemmaitë vrs Bane of Forinthry
Overview: Nolfinwe Telemmaitë accused Bane of Forinthry of attempting to spread chaos and destroy Kandarin Government. When confronted with these accusations, Bane accused Nolfïnwe of the same crimes, saying that it was Nolfïnwe, not Bane himself, that was guilty. To get to the bottom of this, Duke Aunrich called both parties to trial, saying that if either party failed to attend, they would be presumed guilty. When the day of the trial came, Bane of Forinthry refused to attend.
Verdict: The court has found King Bane of Forinthry to be
GUILTY
.
Sentence: King Bane of Forinthry is hereby banished from the Kingdom of Kandarin, and is subject to capital punishment should he ever enter it again. Additionally, as Bane is Forinthry's King, The United Kingdom of Kandarin has decided to
denounce
the Kingdom of Forinthry, making all previous diplomatic arrangements between the two countries
VOID
.
Forinthry had gone from a quiet, desolate town in the middle of the wilderness to bustling hub of activity once the small mining pit had been turned into a proper mineshaft. Day in, day out, the sound of men hard at work inside and out could be heard, both those in the mines, and those outside preparing support beams, pushing minecarts full of ore in and out of the mines. A letter found it's way to lord Bane.

Lord Bane
The mine is going absolutely
spectacularly
so far! Keeping to our agreement of a 25/75 split, 25% of all resources going to your kingdom, 30% of the runite going to your kingdom and all of the useable stone going to your kingdom, this deal is working itself out very well for the both of us. We've just struck the very tip of what we beleive to be a very, very large vein of
runite
.
Currently, we are processing this runite back at The Helix to ensure that it is up-to-standard. If it is, we believe that even the sliver of runite ore recovered so far may very well be enough to forge a chestplate from....a single chestplate of runite, I'm sure you're aware, is probably worth at least
5,000 gold
(Or
500,000 regular coins
), and we're only at the very top of this vein.
I believe this is a turning point for both your kingdom and my company. Once we've got the runite shipped back to you from the helix drop-off point (Exact location, we both know, though I fear that this letter may be intercepted beforehand), and once you inspect the runite yourself, then we can begin proper. A prosperous future for both of us! To The Helix, and to Forinthry!

roleplay economics right there
To be honest the Union has only really scratched the surface and Forinthry has been unmined for Millennia while other kingdoms have been. Obviously compared to other kingdoms you're going to find more mineral veins in a country untouched by miners than one where all the easier access mines were depleted centuries ago.

Where the hell do you think it came from? Tbh me owning Forinthry isn't a new thing as such.

There would be some bustle of activity within Forinthry as it prepares to secure it's borders in light of recent events. Troops would begin deploying along the border with areas of Forinthry still under Battalion rule. If the Bandosians looked out they would see a vast array of artillery in position, a clear warning against any attempt at advancing. Behind that yet more military equipment would clearly be being moved in but the Battalion would not be able to see what it is at this time.
At the same time the black ships captured by the Union from the Brigade would now be ordered to observe all movements of the captured Camelite fleet.
